I don't have tattoos and i will never have any, i have been trying to understand why people get tattoos. Heard many reasons, still don't really get it!

That is my personal opinion about tattoos!

Today i heard a story about a woman who told a guy: you have a wonderfull message and are a wonderfull person but because you have tattoos i can not respect you and it degrades you and your message!

I may not understand why people put tattoos on their already beautifull bodies,but i will always respect a person for who they are!

I'll read the book, no matter what they have on the cover!

Slightly different to my usual blog subjects, but this just got to me!

I got tattoos because I think they look cool, some tattoos anyway, some people get some that look stupid. But I got my tattoos because they reflect my personality & interests & also serve as a reminder to be brave or to lift me up when I'm down. I've got a samurai, because I think they're masterful & courageous. I've got a Chinese dragon because I was born in the year of the dragon. I've got the Norse god Odin on my chest, because I love Vikings & old Germanic culture. I've also got ancient Scandinavian symbols that have different meanings. I love tattoos, & they are a part of my body, like a mole or birthmark now.

Some tattoos are great looking,done well and placed in the right spot,that is very important! With tattoos becoming so popular some people start to do them and they don't have the talent,so even a great design can be ruined and look horrible

I have friends who got tattoos when they were in the service and 50 years latter they look like hell.

I remember when I was a ****, when I saw an old guy with a tattoo it made me think they were cool & probably a bit of a rebel when they were younger.

Yes i have seen that too, as they get older the skin changes,not so tight and firm anymore,or they gain weight,etc.;

And the little birdie tattoo turns into a monster, i hope they like monsters too!
