Admin really needs to change that to 250 (foundation members like yourself shouldn’t have to delete old friends unless you buy a premium membership that might have features you don’t need). I reckon if admin is not willing to make this change - he/she should bring in a system that allows members who have been here for more than 5 years and that are verified to have 250 friends and bring in a 3 tier system of paid membership (to replace the current 2 tier system):
1) The new tier would cost half as much a month as the current “standard premium membership” and be called “base premium membership”. Under “base premium”, you would be allowed the 500 friends as per “standard premium”; but, you would not be able to go invisible, you would not get the “standard premium” daily alotment of points and you would still be capped at 250 points a day for your on-site actions.
2) “Standard premium” would stay as is.
3) “Diamond Premium” would stay as is.
* All 3 paid types of membership should have a discount if you lock into a 3 month deal.
* Most importantly, the worth of long-standing/verified members like yourself should be recognised as bringing it’s own fiscal stimulus to the site (regardless of whether you pay for a membership or not) - without foundation members like yourself, this place might not still exist.
