I love showing myself off on this site , but I am worried about the shape I am in , fatter , less hard erection and moobs . I really need to start sorting myself out , as I don't want to inflict my body on unlucky viewers .

Just want to say, spongeknob, that I understand and appreciate your posting on this topic in your blog. There are just sooo many of us baby-boomers out here, that the issue of aging and 'attractiveness' for a generation that really 'had it all' in that it really got whatever it wanted, just by dint of its overwhelming size, is affecting a huge chunk of population on both sides of the pond.
And naturally, the issue is even bigger when actually pursuing in-person hook-ups, and the expectations -and fears- inherent in that, as compared to showing cherry-picked imagery of ourselves here on this site.
I constantly grapple with understanding how younger people, (men in my case) can sometimes honestly view me as an object of sexual attraction, perhaps especially because as a young man I was rather age-conscious myself. I was never rude, as I knew I was going to be a 'senior citizen' myself one day, but rarely did I actually find 'seniors' attractive. So now, when 'young'uns' show interest in me, well, I'm rather thrown and find it hard to deal with my own awkwardness, especially as I was never lacking in confidence about my looks or sexual prowess when I was younger.
Sorry if I'm rambling and hope this makes sense.

mickyuk, YES l know the feeling & what your saying But we just have to go with the flow & if some one likes what they see & accept you for you are older, Some younger guys l have noticed like older guys. Mind age is just a number its how you feel & outlook on life. ok micky at 73..

Don't get me wrong , I appreciate the gift of getting older . I just meant , I was worried for people looking at my body , I was hoping to raise more than a pitying smile .

There was a time when age signified and came with wisdom. Today youth is king based on nothing but arrogance. Not much of an achievement today in the civilized world today. We have entirely to much time to contemplate our navels and it is killing us. When my grand parents came to this country they were happy to just survive another day. They worked hard and didn't have time for all the trivial things people bitch about today. When they went to bed in their hot or freezing house they slept because they knew another hard day was ahead and they needed to be ready for it.

You have to decide if you're going to make the change, or just carry on. I'd encourage anyone to take care of their health, though. I had to lose a bunch of weight and improve my diet, and I'm glad I did. To make it permanent, it has to be a lifestyle change, and if you don't fight it, it can be easier than you might think. But if you fight it (giving in to self-indugences, etc.) it'll be very hard and probably won't work.
