After yet another infection from not emptying my bladder I opted to get a “T U R P”. It’s been a week. I was told I could be uncomfortable and pissing more than just pee for up to three months. I wonder how long I’ll have to wait before I feel frisky and if it will be safe to try getting off.

I had turp about 4 years ago for the same reason as you. It was uncomfortable for about 3 weeks but not too bad. I had no problem with erections after about 2 weeks and masturbated for the first time after the surgery about a month. It felt good but not as intense as before with a total retrograde ejaculation. The feeling of cumming increased over the next month to the normal pleasurable sensations. And I started normal ejaculations but with reduced cum. Most of it is retrograde. I estimate that only avoit 25 to 40% comes out at ejaculation. This has remained the same since then. Interesting is that my amount of precum produced is the same as before the surgery. I have always been a prolific precummer.

Just thought you might want to know my experience and what you might also experience on your road to recovery. I am really glad I had it done as I no longer get infections and I can pee normally like I could before the prostate problems.
