Do you believe in ghosts? The paranormal? Spirits etc?

I remain a skeptic myself having never seen ANY first hand evidence, in 61 years, of anything. Nada, nothing...

Lord knows I've BEEN to places that where supposed to be 'haunted'. Mega haunted in fact...

Nothing.

I have friends who are truly 'into' the whole paranormal thing who swear they've had encounters of all sorts but again, I have never seen, heard or felt ANYTHING my self and until I do, I remain a skeptic.

I'm OPEN to the idea mind you but... well until I see it first hand......

I also LOVE watching some of the paranormal shows. Not all mind you, some. I was a fan of the original Ghost Hunters show (TAPS) and they're trying to resurrect them in TWO forms now.

The first just doesn't seem that good. It stars Grant from the original Ghost Hunters and while I've always liked him, they just don't seem to be catching much 'evidence'.

The other show hasn't actually started yet but it might be interesting, we'll see.

In the mean time, I am a fan of Ghost Adventures. They've been on for quite some time and just keep getting better and better. Yes it's a TV show, yes a GOOD portion of it is 'staged' if you will but I do believe that there is a core of real STUFF going on there. I've seen them capture 'stuff' that in fact has left ME scratching my head...

That's about it for me though. The rest of the shows on TV just don't seem to come close...

As I said, I do have friends who are into the paranormal and they have invited me to go on various investigations with them, I just haven't had the chance or opportunity to join in. One of these days though, I do plan on doing it just to see what happens. They SWEAR they capture 'stuff' like EVP's and even video evidence etc. and have personal experiences so we'll see..

There are a NUMBER of allegedly haunted places throughout the central Indiana area as well as the entire Midwest.

Heck, there's one just right around the corner from where I live called the House of Blue Lights. It has a rather bizarre and somewhat macabre history to it and if you believe the stories, it is rather spooky...

That's IF you believe all that crap
