Saturday morning... Ahhhhh.. Made it though another week... Yeah us!!

Mona's ankle is healing and she was cleared to start walking on it this past Thurs. by her Ortho doc.. YEAH! Baby steps... Baby Steps... She's going to start PT next week and hopefully, we'll get her back to 'normal' ASAP!

Back in the day, I used to have a mostly lesbian friend who everybody called Trish the Dish... She came by that name honestly, that's for sure. She was GORGEOUS.. She was one of my BEST friends and my bestest golfing buddy..

She was also about as wild and crazy as they come.. The tales of Trish are almost endless, from her blowing herself up literally, on a friends boat one day to her handcuffing a security guard to a handrail one night and leaving him there while we all went down the beach to a bar for a few hours, she never ceased to amaze and amuse..

I LOVE my 'new' guitar... An all original 1967 Gibson ES-335... It's in perfect shape and it is my dream guitar.. I've 'lusted' for one for decades and it hasn't disappointed...

All the 'old songs' that I've played for years now all sound like new and I've found myself inspired to push my own envelope further with it... It's AWESOME and even Mona thinks it's 'cool'... That's high praise from her BTW..

This is going to be a short rambling wreck of a post, I just have too much to do this morning..

Suffice to say, the girls are doing great and I'm hanging in there... Mona is healing up nicely and can you belive that it's Sept already let alone Labor Day weekend?
