The other thing is something I didn't foresee when I was using the pump the first time. Every time I push the button, it provides about 7.5 lb. of vacuum for five seconds. I find myself pushing the button at least a few times to up the vacuum, but it's possible to get carried away, particularly if you don't know what to expect. The first time I used the pump, I pushed the button one or two extra times, and the vacuum actually began to suck the skin of my scrotum through the gasket.
