If I block someone will they be notify they were blocked? or how does it exactly work will they be able to send me messages but I will never receive it so they will just assume im not responding or will they know they are blocked?

They do not get a notification when you block them, but if they try to message you, they will get a writting saying they can't do this because they are blacklisted.
