 | It would appear that filtering has been recently implemented on the discussion forum. Be that as it may it seems to be rather fickle in what it deletes and replaces with stars.
One of my posts had the "s-i-s" deleted from a word and I have noted parts of words deleted from posts by other members. One example is that "p-a-g-n-e" was deleted from the name of the bubbly alcoholic beverage. |

Since I use paid premium memberships on this site I have to comply with credit card alliance regulations. And they have a list of prohibited words that should not appear on adult sites. They do not care if those words were simply used in ordinary intellectual discussion and not for doubtful advertising. I got warning recently that some of the pages do not comply hence the filter. I cannot monitor all the postings for prohibited words manually.
I think I like it less than most of you, since it's against freedom of speech and I see as such regulations spread over internet more and more, but I have no other choice.

And in the same time what do people who are responsible for justice and rules?
only registered users can see external links - EU officials concluded that, following a three-year investigation, there was no evidence to prove the previously undisputed fact. That's where tax-payers money go to. To "very qualified" experts who work three years and prove that water does not help against dehydration.
Or have you heard about "Fast and Furious" scandal in USA? "Black ops" operation that was supposed to track gun dealers in Mexico. In reality they sold thousands of high powered automatic rifles to Mexican mafia and lost track to all of them. And when shit hit the fan (one of the guns appeared in scandal murder) a lot of officials who were aware of the program and responsible for it were denying their awareness or doing other clumsy excuses. You'd better find articles yourself.
And these are just of the top of my head. This world is sick. But this is not a topic for this forum.
