Has anyone received the fake fine informing you you have breached the Australian federal police copyright laws/pornography laws and requesting a straight up 100 dollar fine payment, I ignored it shut it down which then allowed the malware to infiltrate my windows system and block it completely. I was able to find the fix on google via my iPhone. But beware its a shit of a thing. Whatever you do don't pay them money as it will allow then to access even more info on your computer. Don't know how it got past my Nortons. Protection.

Yeah I just got hit with this one on my home pc.
My wife rang very sheepishly to tell me about it and the fact that it claimed because she had been to porn sites.......which she of course denied.
Little does she know its actually me who goes to porn sites (on a different pc)

I got rid of it by signing on using a different username and then scanning with Malwarebytes

No need to worry, simply download malwarebytes update it and restart in safe mode .... run the scan and vmoooosh all gone. And just for the record there Is no one software programme that covers your ass for everything as they claim from viruses,malware/spyware/greyware and all the other wares lol. Superantispyware and malwarebytes are free and don't conflict with other programmes and are very affective. Then just make sure your antivirus programme is up to date.

Thats what they installed for me (Malwarebytes) updated my Anti spywear and so far no mor problems!

It was rather shocking to see that FBI sight pop up Telling me I was in a world of shit though ~!!

I got hit a few months back with a FBI scam! It got through my anti virus also Totaly messed up my PC.
Had to take it to the shop,It took them two weeks of work to finaly get rid of the dam thing!

Me too. Despite a very official looking FBI logo that popped up on my screen, I knew this had to be a scam. I, too, had to take my computer in for a clean out. 'Took them two tries to finally get this damn thing out.

To anyone else to whom this may happen, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY! If you do, they will just ask for more and they will keep on bleeding you 'til you stop paying.
