I sometimes think that the timing of when you post your pic has a lot to do with views. I mean, sometimes the recently posted pages fill up so fast with new submissions that your photo gets pushed off very fast. I'm not sure how many people take the time to go through the archives, but if you're pushed off of the newly posted page or even the top banner in a short period of time you don't really get a lot of exposure.
