I sorta wish I wasn't picky, because I'd be having more sex now. There are times where it's paid off, because of how it motivates me when I find someone I think's perfect. Once, I wanted a stranger bad enough to spend six months getting her to want me as much as I wanted her, and actually ask me out, since by then I knew she never said yes to anyone who asked her out. I got a job at the pool hall she played at every night, barely did any flirting, which isn't like me, and acted like I wasn't looking for anyone.

I remember when I realized it was working, when I saw her on the security cam, just standing there, staring while two girls gave me their numbers to party later. It lasted 3 years (minus a couple months total in breaks to "see" other people, not sure about her, but I sure did), and in the end and we only broke up because she decided she wanted kids. I thought she'd be the one, oh well... When I think about how I put off school for her and gave up great opportunities, I try to focus on the fact that we had sex well over 900 times, with neither of us ever disappointed.
