So sad to hear that Brian Wilson passed away yesterday. I was watching a documentary about him and his musical genius only last week. A musical genius, on a par with the Beatles, who was sadly a very troubled man.

So many classic songs but the one that stands out is ‘Good Vibrations’

Spent whole summers at the beach with a transistor radio playing the latest Beach Boy hit along with other California groups. 🥰

I grew up with this music. Is not necessarily my music but the beach boys were a good band. Very sad that Brian died.

Yes, very sad, always loved the Beach Boys. As well as their major hits, e.h. "Good Vibrations", "God Only Knows", "Sloop John B" etc., my own especial favourite is one of their lesser known songs, "Break Away" from 1969. R.I.P. Brian
