I don't typically vote Hot or Note. My interest is expressed either by leaving a comment or saving a photo to my Favorites list. Those who have befriended me know I'm very positive about nearly everything but will speak my mind when appropriate. Although, I always attempt to be civil. As for the rest, I do as I was told early in childhood; if I don't have anything [positive] to say, I keep it to myself. It works 99% of the time.
I've talked with Admin about adding positive feedback to the categories in the Evaluation and he replied that it's there to keep a check on bad content [although it's sometimes abused] and the ability to write something positive is the recourse to not having positive feedback list items.
Keep your chin up and ignore those who can't behave. There are always those of us who can and will willingly chat with you civilly.
You can block your site for non-members. So when they're on your site they have no problem with registering. Then why is it necesarry for members to do these things anonymous?
If you bring this to Admin's attention, I think you'll find there are a lot of members who'll back you up on this.
