There have been two recent items in the news about same sex kissing causing a stir. On was two actors on Glee kissing each other and the other was two gentlemen being ejected from the John Snow Pub in London for kissing each other.

What is the big deal? We gay men kiss each other all the time and we think nothing of it. But same sex kisses, especially between men, seem to drive a lot of straight people bananas, especially straight men.

To my way of thinking, the mouth is pretty much a gender neutral part of the body. We all have one. Adult males usually have beard growth around their mouths, but other than that one mouth is pretty much like any other. It would seem that any two people of either sex and any sexual orientation can kiss each other.

In the more than three years since I posted this topic there has been a substantial evolution in men kissing each other. Of course we gay men still kiss. You hit the nail on the head with that statement. Many straight and bisexual men have no problem having sex with other men, and not just assuming inserter roles. After all, it's just sex. But to kiss implies an emotional interest and that's a big jump for many men to take.

Right, again, when I was much younger, teen and early 20's, I progressed with my enjoyment of sex with other boys and men. But ....... I really couldn't bring myself to kiss.
