I'm sure it's his producers and promoters who are marketing him that way and I'm also sure he knows it and is going along with it. He likes showing off. And he likes showing off his body and his sexuality. Any SYD member should understand this.

Will he have staying power? Probably not, but maybe. Right now he has enough musical talent to get by, but as he matures he might morph into a somewhat serious artist. Mark Wahlberg comes to mind as an example of someone who did this. He started out as a front man for a musical group and a model who wore only underpants and now he's a somewhat serious actor.
