But that's somewhat like human nature. Put on your thinking cap.....a hundred years ago, when you were a little boy, you may have thought girls were "yucky". Then there was a little girl that captured your attention and you tried to deny the attraction. You may have said mean things, chased her in the schoolyard, called her ugly.....

My guess, with crimsonnoose, if she called herself "ugly", she was probably hoping that someone would step up and praise her positive attributes.

I get that but my guess is that she longed to hear positive words and possibly by saying she was "ugly", she hoped that would encourage positive comments.

Personally, I don't particularly like being around men or women who are that needy. It just drains me of my "energy" when someone is so negative. But was her behavior that drastic or different from someone who thinks they're God's gift to humanity?
