They ALSO believe in degrees of matter.
For example, a black criminal vs a white criminal.

The black one should be set free and not held accountable because they know no better. Those poor souls have been battling an unjust system their whole lives. Have some empathy man! Meanwhile, the white one should be locked up, thrown in an underground dungeon, food deprived, and gassed. Later, throw the black criminal a ticker tape parade, herald them as a hero, and throw a shit ton of money at them.

See! It's all about degrees of matter.
