I had to resort to Google to determine whether other countries had something comparable to "social security" numbers and of course they do. Gosh, a social security number is nothing more than a national identification number! Duh! In Canada it's SIN (social insurance number), in the UK it's NI (national insurance) and I believe that in Australia, folks are issued a CRN (customer reference number).

Heck, keep it simple, suggest something universally understood! A DRIVER'S LICENSE! Of course, a driver's license, members have uploaded images of their driver's licenses with much success on Showitoff!
