Actually, I do enjoy the peace and quiet and not having to entertain what we will do next, I can just relax and not feel like doing anything if I want, but sometimes I do enjoy the company. Several times have I taken co-workers (friends) on vacation with me and paid in full for there vacation because they would not have been able to come up with the money by themselves to go.

I do now, I don’t travel to many places, I seem to go to only one area, I luv to drive from Florida to Georgia to n Carolina and to Tennessee, I love to drive though the old mountain roads in the country stopping at antique stores, flea markets and oh, the food, restaurants. I end up at the same place every year (gatlinburg) ski resort town where I stay for two nights and see the town, than I go in the smoky mountain national park and get a camp site (tent) and camp and cook my food, I get permits to go back country hiking and I do my trout fishing. Then after a week of that, back to a lodge in town ( greystone lodge at the aquarium) and stay there for a couple of days and shop and EAT all kinds of foods. I have been doing that every year for many years now and never get bored of that. Over the years I’ve gone with friends and girl friends and alone at times and enjoyed it.

Those figures are old figures, I know exactly what they make being I’m a mgr for Publix. There is no store manager that makes under $100,000 a year, your figures are 10-15 years out of date. Our grocery mgr makes 72-84 thousand a year meat mgr makes 94, a year, asst store mgr makes 85-105 a year.

Yeah, well the minimum age in Florida is 13 dollars an hour, Publix pays there stock clerks off at starting at 17 an hour to 22.05 an hour. Maybe your looking for a job in the wrong place.

Walmart has taken there department service counters away. No more jewelry counter it’s all about self serve so they can cut down on employees to run the store. Most companies are only hiring part time help, there getting rid of full timers so they don’t have to pay all the benefits that a full time worker used to get.
