Trump broke his gag order about 10 times, which was only needed because Trump threatened everyone involved.
Still, please explain which rules the judge broke, specifically.
Trump just got $1000 fines, every time he violated the gag order.
The fact that he could do that 10 times, without getting thrown in jail, is ridiculous. But, maybe Merchan is saving it for his verdict.
As I said, Trump repeatedly broke the rules of the court and the judge was unacceptably lenient on him. It was suggested that the judge was bias, presumably slanted against Trump, and my suggestion that he was biased towards Trump by being so lenient was, as I say, sarcastic. It may be that Merchan is saving the big blow for the conviction, but I do think intimidation is at play. Trump and his followers have no respect for the process of law, and the threats of violence if he were imprisoned are real.
Actually, I think it would be best if he did not receive a prison sentence for these crimes. The Georgia and January 6 cases are much more serious, and as long as he loses the election (fingers crossed) he should receive custodial sentences for them.

I do think Trump deserves jail time. Michael Cohen got 3 years, for less.
Cohen pled guilty, showed remorse and didn't threaten the jury, the witnesses,
the prosecution, the judge and his daughter, after being held in contempt of court for 10 times. Trump should get the maximum of 4 years, if justice is blind.

In my country, neo-liberals privatized all public utilities, like housing, healthcare, energy production, public transport, the national bank, postal services and telecommunications, promising it would be better and cheaper. It turned out they lied and everything become much more expensive and often worse. They lowered taxes for big companies and the rich and raised taxes for working class people. They reduced regulation for big companies, allowing them to poison people and evade their taxes. They repaired the damage they did with some tax benefits for poor people, which were ridiculously complicated. Then they accused many people of fraud, when they made a small mistake, or not even that, and crushed their lives with huge fines.
