He wouldn't get far in the US, owning (white) slaves now, because slavery is prohibited.
He could just exploit his workers (legal or illegal) and make them fully dependent on him, by setting up a company in a poor area and bribe some local politicians to look the other way. It would be just as cheap as using slaves, without the hassle.
Slaves are hard to come by and when you don't feed them enough or punish them too hard for not working hard enough, they die. Especially illegal immigrants are an inexhaustible resource, which companies can exploit to death, with impunity, because Republicans don't believe in punishing companies and just blame the immigrants themselves and the Democrats for letting them in, while distracting their voters with a border wall and neglecting to mention that they will never close the gate for letting in the illegals going to their exploiters.
But it would become easier for an Anthony Johnson to exploit white Americans,
like slaves, if you keep supporting Republicans stripping even more rights and benefits for working, poor and unemployed people.
There are lots of 'right to work' states that already make is easy to abuse (white) Americans, but cheaper and without the hassle of owning slaves.
DREAMers got a chance to study and work in the US. That's not a carrot, that's actually improving their life, even if they have to return to their country of origin. They are not exploited. They are not working on a farm or as a roofer or in a meatpacking plant. And even if they would need to return to their country of origin, their chance to make it there would also massively increase.
It's bullshit Democrats don't deal with illegal immigration.
They are doing border security just as much, but they also provide a path to citizenship for real refugees and immigrants who have a chance to improve their lives in the US and would benefit the US in return. That's not exploitation, because they will no longer be illegals. They will become Americans and have a better life than would have been possible in their country of origin.
Your problem is that you think of any immigrant as an 'illegal'.

I see no evidence for BLM being more corrupt than what's standard in the US.
It's not transparent enough, for my likes, but we are talking about an organization worth around $40 million. There are a shitload of right-wing, conservative and religious organizations worth billions, that are less transparent than BLM.
