Sorry Bella, I'm watching tennis as we speak. The answer is yes. Rules are rules regardless of someone's status. And phart I think you mean Van demons land. That is an island off the south eastern coast of Australia. For the record it was once apart of Aussie and so too was New Zealand.. many many moons ago.
Sorry Bella, I'm watching tennis as we speak. The answer is yes. Rules are rules regardless of someone's status. And phart I think you mean Van demons land. Tasmania. And the only place a mass shooting occurred. Our gun laws are in control,we don't have a gun lobby that is or will ever be stronger than the Government. Tasmania is an Australian state an island off the south eastern coast of Australia. Tasmania call us the main land and For the record it was once apart of Aussie and so too was New Zealand.. many many moons ago. I love Australia and looking what's going on in the world love it more and proud to be an Aussie as well --------------------------------------- added after 17 minutes
I’m a bit of a snake guy and I seen a documentary on your king snake they inhabit an island off the main land and they get very large they are black and they can swim I’m told they have been known to swallow a kangaroo
Tasmania has snakes but New Zealand has zip. In Oz we have a formidable snake called a brown snake that can reach a length of 2.5 metres... The largest caught was 3.3 metres. The are know to chase in mating season and can move very fkn quick
Isn’t the brown snake the most poisonous in the world? Or is it’s poison the strongest? I can’t remember what I heard about it but I do know that it was bad and I wouldn’t want to run into one!
I think the only one that is more poisonous is the Golden Lancehead viper found on snake Island.
Apparently it's venom has evolved to be so poisonous as when it captures birds they are instantly dead. I'm guessing birds are their only food source, or maybe the occasional scientist. As far as I can find out there has not been a bite on a human yet.
Another problem with the king Brown is the can move very quick, as in moderate running pace and have no hesitation in making you run like Hussain Bolt --------------------------------------- added after 5 minutes
Why not? Australia is one of the most progressive, educated, and free countries in the world. If I was thinking of emigrating, Aussie Land would be in my top five list. Of course Dev01 might have something to say about that
I don't think the U.S.would not let him in to play tennis, it's his right to not vax. But it's the right of the others who pay to make sure they don't get Covid from him if he were to get it, so if he wants to play here, he should get tested every day he is here until he leaves. If he tests positive, then he should be isolated until he is negative. But other countries have the right to not let him in and he needs to stop wining like a little baby saying his rights are being violated.
Our mad dictator state governments have locked state borders, closed businesses and put thousands out of work because of the virus. Australian citizens have been refused compassionate grounds to cross state borders for urgent medical treatment or to visit dying relatives. Then the socialist Victorian state government allows an exemption for another millionaire celebrity. It pisses all over the people they have made to suffer unnecessarily. Australia isn't as insane as the news reports indicate, it's the mad dictator state premiers of three states only, not the whole country.
So No Vax has had his visa cancelled and will be deported. Here if your deported you are ineligible to return for a period of 3 years. I'm sure this will be waived to calm the masses. It's a shame but rules are rules so no Australian Open tournament for him.
I just watched an article on PBS news and they were saying that a lot of rules were bent on his behalf as well as the fact that he filled out his entry form incorrectly (be it accidentally or not).
He got thrown out of the U.S. Open a couple years ago for inadvertently hitting a lines woman.
I’ve been watching this and I do see a lot of holier than thou attitude from his mother too. “They are keeping him as prisoner, it’s not fair it’s not human.”
If he gets deported he will not be allowed back into the country for three years.
I think the most entertaining part was the Australian news presenters getting caught on hot mics speaking their truth.
The article you attached appeared to include the video but I did not see the link. My bad, I guess I didn't notice that you included a separate YouTube link, unless you just added that. So, if the YouTube link was included with your original post, please accept my apology for not noticing it AND if you JUST added it to make me look like I'm blind and crazy.....
I had to Google who he is and just what the buzz surrounding Novak Djokovic is...... For the last two years the Australian government has been strict, borders have been locked down and people have been required to get vaccinated. According to Google, 78% of all Australians are "fully" vaccinated.
As an Australian citizen, how do you feel about this unvaccinated man being able to enter your country to "work"?
Well the borders as of 1am tomorrow are pulled down so all Aussies are now allowed into Qld. 450 or so days since people could freely travel across our border. We live 5 mins from the NSW/QLD border and for people that live either side and bussiness had a hard time. As for Novak... he is an anti Vaxer and I get it but just because you are number 1 tennis player don't give you the right to ignore the rules... be a king or Queen or just an idiot, rules are rules.
Saying that our minister should have cancelled this way before now. Austr looks like a laughing stock, and for good reason. It all ends up being a political mukbang.
I have not been vaccinated but I am NOT an anti vaxxer. I also recognize that if I don't follow certain rules and/or established guidelines, I might be denied certain privileges. Example; if I do not have a valid driver's license, I am not permitted to drive on the roads. With that said, if your country mandates that their citizens are required to be vaccinated and the borders have been locked down to protect the people and hinder the spread, then yes, your PM dropped the ball and let the people down by allowing him entry. I do not follow tennis but my guess is that Novak Djokovic generates a good amount of money in conjunction with the AO.
So you're not against vaccination in general, but you just didn't want this one?
I find the comparison with a seat-belt better than a driver's license.
You need both a driver's license and a seat-belt to be allowed to drive,
but the driver's license isn't going to reduce your risk of dying, if you crash.
You can visit more places if you are vaccinated, but it's also protecting you
from severe illness and death, when you get Covid.
You are correct, I choose not to receive the shot at this time because I do not feel that enough information is available regarding the vaccination.
And as far as your assertion about visiting more places and being protected from severe illness and death should you get COVID, perhaps people are able to visit more places but "the jury's still out" on the latter part.
Depends on what jury you trust. If you don't trust anything the government and other official channels say, than it will be very hard to ever trust anything ever again.
How about it that was the goal and you are falling for it?
But think about this; one side wants to persuade people with data and facts and the other side is 'only asking questions' and absorbed in anecdotes. Shouldn't they have something more to substantiate their concerns by now? It's a year later and 3,92 billion people are vaccinated in the world.
Do you really belief it's some conspiracy to reduce overpopulation, chip people or just enrich the pharma companies? If yes, what's your reason for thinking that 'they' would need a vaccine to achieve those goals?
Or is it just your concern about side effects? How bad should a disease be, before you take the risk of side effects over the risk of the disease itself?
Don't you believe that 850.000 people really died of Covid or do you think that's
not enough evidence that Covid is more dangerous than the vaccines?
