Oh my goodness, Donald Trump said there would be tariffs coming to Canadian products that it didn't happen???? I'm shocked!

It always seems to me and everyone else in the world that whatever threats he utters never come to fruition.

It's like he always chickens out.

Any deal made by anyone with the Trump administration is not a stable deal. It is subject to change at the whim of Donald Trump.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

These firefighters probably flew directly over Washington state to British Columbia with their fires because of the fact that if they were in the US during their small amount of time off out of uniform they might fear getting picked up by ICE agents and end up in jail for doing something for the direct benefit of the American people.
The Canadian government is not "hunting" Mexicans.

As an aside, I saw on CTV news today at a recent pole indicated that 80% of Canadians "strongly agree" that we should send help to the US to help with an emergency situation if we could.

By kebmo 07,Aug,26 18:42
I know how you feel! Last year in Alberta, where I live, the forest fires were especially bad up north and the wind blew all the smoke south. Our air quality index was regularly at 10.

For a while last year on the Weather page on my phone it didn't say sunny or cloudy, it just said smoke!

By kebmo 06,Aug,26 18:30
200 firefighters from Mexico just landed in British Columbia to help with our devastating forest fires in western North America.

They will not be deported. They will be treated with great respect and thanked profusely by the government of British Columbia, the government of Canada and Canadian citizens because that's how good neighbours treat each other.

Why do we allow so many idiots to post idiotic things on the abuse panel?
I just voted the abuse was not valid in the case of someone who has been here for a little over a month put someone up for deletion with no comment and no explanation. I think you should be a member for at least a year before you are able to use this feature.
I am going to add a link to the page but it will probably be gone because I was the fourth consecutive "are you fucking kidding me?" vote in this case.

Will somebody please tell this Canadian why there is never any fraud committed when a republican wins? There is only fraud occurring if a democrat wins!

Crazy eh?

By kebmo 08,Jun,26 01:50
Are you talking about a FIT kit? I live a five minute walk from the biggest hospital within 100 miles so I just pick her up there and then take it right to the lab there.
If you live near a town that has a a medical laboratory you can get it and return it there too.

A friend of mine had a daughter who slammed her door a couple of times and her dad said the next time that she slammed her door it's coming off for the day.
Well it came off for a day and she slammed it again so it came off for a week.
The next time she slammed it it came off for a month. It never got slammed again!

I always fly "Premium Economy" and drinks, meals and luggage are free. I also get to be the first group onto the plane and the first off because I'm in the front.
There is no centre seat just two bigger seats.
After the first time I tried this I really got spoiled. I don't fly often but when I do I want to be comfortable.
I'm flying next week, just a two hour flight but I'll be comfortable.

It's official. Donald Trump has become the deadest duck of all the dead ducks in the history of American presidents.
All those Republican guys retiring have suddenly found a spine and a pair of balls and they are out for revenge…

Not wearing seatbelts didn't hurt anything for decades either. The only issue was that if you got into a car accident you got hurt.
Having worked in Italian/Pizzarestaurants for decades I can assure you that undercooked pizza is not as uncommon as you may think.

By kebmo 27,May,26 08:32
I have worked in a lot of Italian/Pizza restaurants in the last 32 years and I have put out a lot of delicious pizzas and none of them have had potassium bromide in them. Its benefits are primarily financial to the business owner, whiter flour, more volume and extra gluten to strengthen the dough.
If these owners of pizza restaurants don't know how to make a pizza without potassium bromide maybe they should consider a career change.

By kebmo 26,May,26 18:58
Potassium bromate has not been used as a food additive in Canada since 1994 due to health and cancer concerns.

Well I learned to enjoy playing with balls when I was young and just never stopped enjoying it. 😀

I have my smallpox scar and I loved my clackers and was very good at "clacking".
My friend's family owned a cottage in southern Ontario and we went there every summer between my age of seven and 12 and they always had the mosquito truck. We chased it around every night and nobody batted an eye at it.
DDT is known to be a possible cause of epilepsy, among other neurological disorders. When I was 14 I developed epilepsy and to this day I take medication for it. Of course it is impossible to prove the cause but there were many things that were ruled out as the cause such as tumors, head injuries and hereditary epilepsy.

He might get a Presidential pardon.

By kebmo 28,Apr,26 07:41
Well if he spent less time golfing, on social media threatening his opponents, fighting failing wars that he started and embezzling money from American taxpayers he would definitely have more time to be president.

By kebmo 27,Apr,26 23:16
No I haven't fallen down a rabbit hole but....

I believe it is very possible that the whole Donald
Trump "assassination" attempt could very well be staged.

I know I'm not the only one that thinks this but there are
just so many benefits that come from this for Donald Trump.
Of course the primary one is that the ballroom at the White
House would have been a lot safer so now it's a matter of public
safety that "must" be built.

Enter the executive order.
I could go on and on but it's bedtime after I watch Jimmy Kimmel.

I don't think they should be allowed to enter any free theme image contests
and I'm kind of borderline about whether or not they should even be on the main page. It's not real so they don't deserve to be rewarded for it.

The purity is disappearing.

Although I edit the colouring and clarity of my photos I certainly don't add enhancements that are not realistic depictions of my friends and I.

My cat doesn't go outside except on my balcony.
If I had a dog it would be more convenient to take it out
during the summer because it's not -40°!

Those fucking Canadians! 🇨🇦

I read somewhere once that gas pumps are the most likely place to get the information skimmed when you use your credit card or debit card. Very often the proprietor is involved in the scam.

By kebmo 18,Apr,26 07:58
Get gas from BJ's? That's never been a problem for me!

By kebmo 17,Apr,26 22:38
I know that in the Restaurant industry in Canada credit card fees are built into the pricing of food. There wouldn't be a different price if you paid cash versus credit card.
I assume that Canadian gas stations do the same thing, just average it out and build it into the cost to the consumer.

Do American grocery stores have different pricing for cash versus credit card?

By kebmo 17,Apr,26 20:13
I just saw on American news a sign at a gas station.
It said regular cash $3.99 and below that it said regular credit $4.09.
Is that normal to pay $.10 more per gallon if you use your credit card?
That doesn't happen in Canada. There is just one price regardless
of how you pay.

By kebmo 04,Apr,26 17:30
The barrel is a standard 205 L. There is only one size. They are that size for shipping to 70 other countries. 205 L of maple syrup is a lot of maple syrup.
I assume that there are multiple people in any country importing it and packaging it so 205 L is useable size and it's convenient for shipping.

By kebmo 03,Apr,26 22:45
Canada has the world's only maple syrup strategic reserve.

It was a special election in Florida in which a democrat won

I sold appliances for 10 years. One of the biggest mistakes that the laundry companies made was to put a glass door on the washer so that you could see inside it!
It sounds to me like it is a top load washer, probably an LG. I never sold the top load HE washers because I don't like them. The front load washer uses considerably less water but it goes around and around and everything gets cleaned by the friction of the clothes inside the washer rubbing against each other.
I don't know how big your rug is but it could be that you need to take it to a dry cleaner or a heavy duty washing machine at a laundromat.
