409/9 a gallon for low grade gas in Pennsylvania today
Thank you joe Biden
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 03:56 other posts
The cheapest I can find Euro 95 (E10) near me is € 2.169 / liter.
That's $ 8.94 / gallon. It's all because of Putin, not Biden.
By dgraff [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 04:21 other posts
This started way before Putin started acting up as long as I can remember clear back to John Kennedy every time we have a democrat president the gas goes up it’s because they believe in using up other countries oil and save ours for a rainy day like war time I’m not saying they are wrong it’s just hard on the American people
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 12:31 other posts
Nonsense, the prices went up the most under Bush:

And drilling for oil was increased massively under Obama:

It's just the media you watch, talking about the debt, inflation and high gas prices,
when a Democratic president is in office and praising everything when a Republican president is in office, creating debt with massive tax breaks for the rich and causing inflation and high gas prices.
By dgraff [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 19:01 other posts
Nonsense you can show me all the graph’s and google look ups you want but I can remember obumma had us up over 5 dollars a gallon bush wasn't even close and gas went up a whole 20 cents today alone it’s now 4.29 per gallon
By Sir-Skittles [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 22:09 other posts
Last time gas was this high was under Obama ...
By Dev01 [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 19:11 other posts
Agreed DG . The world has always been held to ransom with fuel. It is the world economy. Annas don't tell me they don't restrict production (which drives prices up) when needed. Also then there is the run on effect of food prices going up... Ignorance is bliss mate.

And google is not always correct, nor the first entry. Like DG said, graphs mean shit, like most of the idiots walking around on this earth. Ever heard the word propaganda?

Just saying

Easy to blame usless wars for this
By phart [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 20:03 other posts
Fuel started going up soon as biden "won" the seat. and when putin started his shit they found another reason to run it up. russia only makes up for 8 % of our oil useage. WHY can't the other producers simply crack the valves and make up that 8% and prevent putin from bringing the world to it's knees? He does not have to declare war on anyone else,he is able to sit back eating popcorn and watch the damn fool liberals do his dirty work.
By Dev01 [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 21:23 other posts
That was not the case here. They just reduce production.. blame it on war or famine then increase price. As for Biden and what's happening atm. I will say this, Do you really think Putin will stop once the Ukraine is conquered?

Atm the rest of the world look like fools which mean China are watching to see if taking Taiwan is possible. The nuke fixed Hiroshima conflict. Mmm well I don't know
Sleepy needs to do something quickly.

Note what is said at the end,it amounts to our own oil is processed cleaner here in the US than over seas. Why not use our own and stop suffering.?
By dgraff [Ignore] 07,Mar,22 22:04 other posts
It’s because the Democrats are greedy bastards and believe we should use up other countries oil and save our own for a rainy day they believe that if we use up their oil it will make them weak it’s been this way as long as I can remember clear back to John Kennedy
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 04:08 other posts
There is oil left in the world for 47 years, at the current consumption.
Are you really suggesting to keep burning oil, until it's totally gone?
Do you understand how much the price would be going up?
Supply and demand!

It's also getting harder to get it out of the ground. At some point, the energy to get it out, refine and transport the oil, costs the same energy as is IN the oil.

Most sustainable alternatives are already much cheaper.
Do you really want to pay more, just to end civilization?
By dgraff [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 04:27 other posts
In 47 years I will have been dead a long time I have no children so why would I care what happens 40 years from now in my opinion this world is fucked there’s no way in hell I wanted to bring children in to this skummy world and any one that did was only thinking of them self
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 04:42 other posts
That's part of the reason why I didn't want kids, but I have a nephew now.
Besides that, I care about it mostly because of myself.

Did you read what I wrote? It won't take 47 years.
One S.O.B. holding his oil as hostage is enough.
You won't be driving V8's anymore. Get used to the idea.

I hope to still live for several decades. In that time the world could go to an absolute horror. Or not. It will all depend on the choices we all make together, every day.
And it's not looking like anyone is making the right choices.
By dgraff [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 05:11 other posts
That’s the biggest problem any time you get a large group of people we will call them government no one can agree on any thing and no one wants to bend even a little why are we paying thousands of government employees and yet nothing gets done because they are to busy arguing they all should be fired they need to remember they work for us
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 05:41 other posts
They are not busy arguing. They have been bribed to do nothing.
People cannot even agree on the problems, let alone the solutions.
The media creates that division, so no one holds the government to account.

The solution is getting off from fossil fuels. The oil producing countries and oil companies will keep fucking everyone over, because they can, because everyone relies on them. And they have been allowed to have a cartel; OPEC.

Why are you asking the government to do something about the oil prices?
Isn't it a free market? Do you want to end the capitalist system for oil and make it (more) socialist now? You blame Biden. What do you want him to do?
By dgraff [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 09:00 other posts
Personally I would rather quit paying taxes disassemble our government throw all the bum’s out in the street and make it every man for him self the strong would survive but I guess that’s how we got in the mess we are in our government was assembled because of the British Invasion at that time we needed a leader to bring the people together but before that most everyone was farmers and they fend for themselves
By #610414 08,Mar,22 09:09
That’s anarchism
By dgraff [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 10:35 other posts
Oh is that what they call it well I think we would be better off
Except for your enormous military budget, you're almost there.
What time in history gives you the idea that would be better?

In that time of those farmers, everyone was horribly poor and completely vulnerable to disease or some fuckers next door coming to take your harvest, your daughters and your life.
Everything humanity has achieved comes from working together, against the selfish assholes in power. In the middle-ages there was one king and everyone was serving that king, giving away their food and freedom, just for the bit of safety that the king provided. Later in the industrial age there were the leaders of industry and everyone else was working day and night under horrific circumstances to just get some food and shelter. It would have still been like that if people didn't rebel and organize. So whatever time without government you want to go back to, they were all worse than now. It's just not working, because people like you are giving their power away to the rich. They are dividing the people against each other. That's you saying 'throw all the bum’s out in the street'.

Giving the rich all the power can come back to bite you. When some private equity firm wants your business and they force you into bankruptcy, make you sell it for peanuts and make you work for peanuts. That's how 'every man for himself the strong would survive' works in modern times.

I’m sorry but I don’t see much difference between your description of how things were and how things are today
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 08,Mar,22 15:42 other posts

One king, Jeff Bezos, and all people are serving that king, because he provides the jobs for the masses, where everyone else is working day and night under horrific circumstances, to just get some food and shelter.

True, not much has changed since the middle ages.
Maybe I forgot you live in the US. It's different in developed countries.

You're giving me an open goal man.

You know, sometimes it is just best to put down the shovel and stop digging.
This whole episode reminds me of the time while at age 10 visiting my grandparents,my cousin and me were going to plant a garden in grandpals back yard. We started digging a hole.as hard as a 10 and 6 year old could. My uncle came up and said,"Boys,be carfull, you are about to hit a bunch of SHIT, that is where the outhouse used to be". We stopped digging as we were afraid that shit would come spewing out of the ground and get all over us.
Same with New york and it's people trying to dig up shit on Trump. They better stop digging before THEY are the 1's that look stupider than they already do.

In my lifetime I’d say Carter. He was a good man with his heart in the right place but unfortunately circumstances beyond his control brought him down. He tried his hardest to be a good man for his country.

Crime, weak foreign policy, and his cackling VP
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 28,Feb,22 09:35 other posts
Crime? He does nothing different than Trump did on crime. Neither any good!
Weak foreign policy? He did what Trump promised, but failed at. That's strong!
Cackling VP? True! But Trump had a religious wingnut; also not good.

Biden +1 on Trump on your arguments. Try again.
By Sir-Skittles [Ignore] 28,Feb,22 16:42 other posts
Stick to what you know... Dutch lass. I think you might stroke out getting so frustrated with US politics!

How about bail reform, defund the police, liberal DA's, nothing is a crime anymore. That was not Trump at all. You try again.

Weak foreign policy- Even his own party is saying that!

Let's throw in failed energy polices just to balance things out.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 01,Mar,22 10:10 other posts
First of, thanks for the effort. I do appreciate the arguments.

I am frustrated with your politics, but also fascinated. At times it definitely adds to my high blood pressure, so I can't promise it doesn't kill me. Then again, unloading on you might work therapeutically.

I don't know much about the bail reform, but I'm sure you don't either. The goal of bail is being able to let people go until trial, but give them an incentive to show up at the trial. Poor people however are clogging up the system, because they can't afford bail. That means bail reform is a good idea. Now is he letting people go on bail too easy?

Defund the police was a stupid slogan, because it didn't represent what they wanted. They wanted money to go from the police to other civil servants, because the police sucks at certain jobs. It's used as a strawman and it Biden doesn't support it, so it's not an argument for him being 'weak' on crime.
Liberal DA's. And off course they are weak on crime. I get it.
'nothing is a crime anymore' Really? Did Biden do that? Wow! FREEDOM!

'Weak foreign policy' Because tweeting 'little rocket man' helps international relations. And then falling in love with a dictator is also great. Trump said he would handle Putin much better. He can't say how, that's a shame. It could be everything from nuking Russia to sucking Putin's dick. Biden is a bit more predictable and calm, but why weak? What should he do? Tweet at him, nuke him or suck his dick?

I agree on Biden being weak the energy policies, but for reasons you won't like. The whole Ukraine thing just showed us oil and gas are very dependent on international politics. We all need our own sustainable energy sources. The US has oil and gas, but they are running out and are increasingly causing pollution (and off course climate change). The world should stop fighting over the last scraps of fossil fuels and invest in the future. Biden is still better than Trump on that, even if he hasn't achieved anything (yet).
If you don't want that, you should actually praise Biden, because he outpaces Trump in issuing drilling permits on public lands. I think that's horrible, so I would give you that as Biden being weak. Overall just as bad as Trump.
By phart [Ignore] 25,Feb,22 19:49 other posts
I can't help but sit here and think perhaps even SHE the 2warm Cat, is not totally serious about this.
I met a fellow back about 1999 that I wish I had got to know much better as he was SMART ,he was 93 I think at the time I met him. He was a democrat, diehard. He was a retired Westinghouse engineer .He designed equipment that was used to calibrate test equipment. and even at 93,he was STILL designing circuits and building radios from scratch.
BUT if you got him on the subject of politics, OH my GOD, Calvin Cooledge was the most do nothing president of all time according to him.
Why I mentioned that hell if i know,I guess cause I am sitting back thinking of all my lost friends this evening.

Down the yaka mora full speed ahead
John Calvin Coolidge jr., 1923 till 1929. Never heard anything about him.
So you could be right that he was 'the most do nothing president of all time'.
If things keep going like they are now, I'm sure people will also not remember Biden
a hundred years from now.

If it escalates to nuclear war, there wouldn't be anyone to remember.
If Putin takes Ukraine and leaves it at that, everyone will have accepted.
"inflation, high gas prices, food more expensive. You really have dimentia"
You just pointed to the same thing, three times. Who has dementia?

The whole world has the same problem. Why is Biden responsible?

At least you TRIED to argue, the rest just started with insults.
By phart [Ignore] 28,Feb,22 12:06 other posts
Perhaps it is the fact that so many democrats are not hearing or reading it that prompts the repeats.
Like talking to a tree stump trying to get a democrat to understand anything.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 28,Feb,22 12:21 other posts
You can repeat it a million times, it's still not true.

But, he could make a law that prohibits the oil companies and food manufacturers
to make profits and maximize their production, for the next year or two.

That would solve the high prices. But, every Republican would vote against it.
Actually, they didn't even show up for an important vote on inflation legislation.
Republicans like to hurt the people and blame the Democrats for the pain.

If you don't like that, what is the solution then?
