Well no one is forcing the employees to work.They work by choice.They choose to make a living and support themselves.
Some states,like North carolina,are right to work states.
I see no reason for a employer to be libeal for someone getting a virus while working.How can the person PROVE beyond a shadow of a doubt they got the virus from work?
You see that rabbit hole could get deep.
Ok so we let employes sue if they get Wuhan virus,Will they be allowed to sue if they get Aids,bird flu,etc?

There were many stories about meat processing plants that even forced their workers to work when they had corona. They work on a point system where if they call in sick too many times, they get fired.

It is not about proving you get sick from your work, it is about showing that the employer takes no countermeasures to prevent people getting sick. It is similar to giving your workers gloves, ear protection and eye protection. Is that so hard to understand?

If the employer makes sure people can keep distance to their colleagues, mandatory masks if needed, health checks, hygiene, staying home with health issues and training, then they would face no legal consequences if one or more employees get sick.
Many employers have done nothing to protect their employees, forced sick people to work and lied about COVID cases in their workplace. Those employers should face the consequences, because they risked the deaths of many employees, their family and in society as a whole.

When you cause an accident in traffic by driving recklessly, don't you get punished.
Why would you exempt employers from any consequences of their actions?

I'd like to test myself & see if I could last. But watching the show, even people that seem to be pretty well prepared & knowledgeable have a hard time surviving. That Bear Grylls stuff (as much as I like him) is made up for the show. Les Stroud & the contestants on Alone are doing it for real.

always loved Les Stroud and his way of putting himself in a real situation, and using the materials he had on hand to save his life, I think the money isn't enough to drive most, but if it was a real life situation, after you went through all the scenarios in your head and the emotions of being there, you would be able to settle and push through if your sense of survival kicked in and in time you create a habit of living... *lix*

I think most of the contestants do it for the personal challenge. Money is a good incentive to last, but I think the number one reason for putting oneself in such a situation is for a personal 'rite of passage'. Like that guy was talking about the other day, kids don't have the transition phase from being a boy to becoming a man anymore, so modern humans create there own 'rite of passage'

kids are wrapped in cotton wool, parents don't want them to grow up.. it is a personal challenge to take on this, and if by series 4 they couldn't find anyone else to take the challenge, shows how soft the human race has become. the show comes down to who can starve the longest as none of these modern day contestants can learn to live off the land single handed during the winter. they'd be able to master it without hardship and starvation longer if given more time during summer and autumn to prepare, but the cold and lack of food drives most them home. lack of food makes them question why theyre there and then they miss their family and the good life . *lix*

Yesterday had to go for a little walk, to buy a new battery for my car. The walk was about a mile long. It was about 8:00 AM in the morning and cool and foggy . I live in a small town called T9O. ( Tenino ). If you blink you just might miss it. After a few blocks I began to approach the main part of town. through the fog I begin to see the feed store. As I got closer I begin to see what looked like a giant teddy bear through the fog. The giant teddy bear was sitting down leaning back against a lamppost looking at me and oncoming traffic. My mind began to try and figure out what I was looking at. As I got closer I could see the teddy bear was holding a beer in his hand. It was a large can of 12% HERICAIN ICE. The can apeared to be empty and had a dent in it. I lafted at the funny site so early in the morning . Someone had done a very good job making it apeare that he had past out against the poll. I thought to myself this teddy bear is coming home with me if he is still there the way back. On the way back I could see that he was still there. The feed store was open so I asked them about the teddy bear. The owner said you can have him. He was there this morning when they showed up for work. I grabbed the teddy bear and put it in my cart. He was a little wet and damp from the foggy morning. A cop drove by and smiled as I was putting the teddy bear in the cart. I'm sure that he had drove by him already and seen him sitting there. Other people that drove by were looking at me wondering what I was doing with a big teddy bear so early in the morning. When I got home I showed my girlfriend the teddy bear. She said it was quite and very big. Then she ask where the hell did I get that big bear so early in the morning. I told her about my walk and she said, no way are you shitting me, your not are you, then giggled . So what you think? I thought I would never find a teddy bear drinking on the side of a road so early in the morning. Once again I have crossed paths with another giant Teddy bear. What a way to add another stuffy to the Klan. I will take some better pictures later. He is the biggest teddy bear I've gotten so far. The things you can find on the side of a road so early in the morning in Tenino Washington. Life is always full of so many surprises. stay sexy and safe.
