I did not realize you lived in such a dangerous place I was watching a show called water cops in Miami Florida brower county they are calling Miami the crime capital of the world so please be safe that goes the same for everyone i know in Florida
Dgraff, considering a photo he had on his old profile, he is the last person i am worried about their safety in floriduh, I think he has his safety covered.
Phart, I am in a safe place, I have a stockpile of weapons and ammunition and not only that, I live in an upscale community away from the bad people, not saying all upscale people are good. And I live in a community where you can call it Copland. Both of my neighbors are detectives. But I am considering moving up to the smoky mountain area in a few years. All I want is a small house on about five acres of land with a stream or lake front property. And a vegetable garden. And dgraff, Miami is in dade county, I live in broward county, ft,lauderdale area.
Suspect arrested in the murder of the UnitedHealthcare CEO. Can someone please explain how a handgun and silencer can be made by a 3D printer? Thank you.
I don't have it in detail but you could do it several years ago. And it wouldn't be metal I wouldn't think if it was ALL 3d printed.but for light ,1 time use, a polymer would probably hold up that could be squirted out of a machine.it still required some machine work I am sure.
They just opened another fast food restaurant in LaBelle. Not only do we have McDonald's side-by-side with Burger King, a Culver's is a couple blocks away. I'm not sure whether the townsfolk are just tired of Big Macs and Whoopers because they really don't have the lines like they used to. The Culver's a couple of blocks away has lines coming out the ying yang from opening to close!
Much better menu and it comes from your neck of the woods.

It's still fast food but a few rungs above MickeyD's or the King's.
The nearest Arby's to me in Florida is located in either Moore Haven OR Lehigh Acres, both which are 25+ miles away. When I go to Arby's, I really enjoy their gyro sandwich. YUM!
Driving in Florida is wild, do you hear me, WILD! Apparently they have a law about cars stopped/broken down on the side of the road where you are required to ease out of the right lane in order to drive past (same courtesy given to police, ambulance, emergency vehicle, etc). I was returning to LaBelle from Lehigh Acres via Joel Blvd, Joel Blvd is 4 lanes, 2 lanes northbound, 2 lanes southbound. I'm southbound while 2 firetrucks are on the nortbound side in the left lane. NOBODY (except me) PULLS OFF TO THEIR RIGHT TO GIVE THESE EMERGENCY VEHICLES THE RIGHT OF WAY. I wonder whether giving the right of way to emergency vehicles is a Michigan thing? I was truly concerned that the guy behind me wasn't in the mood to stop.... Yeah, the drivers in Florida are freaking wild!
In fl. The only time you don’t have to stop is if there is a median separating opposite lanes. You are required to pull over on the bank until emergency vehicles pass, I’ve noticed at least 90% of vehicles don’t follow the law on the street. I pull over and stop and cars behind me honk their horns like I’m crazy. I’m talking two lane traffic.
Thanks because I thought I was having a "maybe I shouldn't be driving" crazy moment. By the way, I am directionally challenged because I was northbound and the firetrucks were southbound but other than that, you understood the concern I conveyed.
Joel Blvd does not have a median yet I noticed no one seemed to be stopping on the side the firetrucks were traveling, they only slowed down to allow the emergency vehicles to pass. I guess the folks behind me were wondering why the Michigander flipped on her blinkers and came to a complete stop on the opposite side of the street.
A hundred years ago, I dated a Detroit fireman and he told me that when they are on a run or call and if their truck happens to hit you, it is your fault, not theirs.
I never really understood it. I drove firetrucks on calls for a good while and frankly, as I was driving, i kept the truck in my travel lane. The completely stopping thing, should not be necessary. sliding over a bit to give them space, sure, but stopping?? who thought that was needed. IF the fire truck is on the side of the road, sure, go over a lane and slow down as you approach as people are coming out from behind and around the trucks and don't need to worry about being hit.
As for a fire turck hitting you while going on a call< eh, fire trucks technically can not travel over the speed limit for 1 thing,we all did go a bit faster, and most do. duh it's a emergency. but to say your fault if THEY hit you, eh, i beg to differ. I might have to do some research but that does not compute with what i remember in training.
That’s because there have been many times cars don’t pull over and stop and the emergency vehicle has to make a turn and wait till the cars come to a stop to turn, every second is precious, especially if your the one waiting for your life to be saved.
I’m with you guys I thought pulling over and stopping was in every state i know they are very strict about that in Pennsylvania emergency vehicles have to get through quickly the school bus thing is strictly enforced too the only time you may pass a school bus is if you have 4 lanes with a barrier between them
1/2 inch of snow and people are driving stupid all ready
Listen it’s simple if you are to scared to drive in bad weather then stay the hell home or move somewhere warm but don’t get out and in danger me at 5:30 AM because you are too scared to drive I’m trying to get people to work and you’re in my way
we had a literal sprinkle of snow monday morning about 3 am, they sprayed salt on all the bridges for a sprinkle of snow. all these idiots from california come here and can't drive in the first place, then loose it on a dusting of snow.
I was able to get around ok back when i was going to work all the time and they wouldn't turn us loose until it was "to late" to be safe. but then I had work out in it to sometimes. but since i have been retired, and have not needed to be out in it, i have lost my technic I guess you could say. Another thing to, to much hp under the hood, makes it difficult, most of my stuff back in the day was worn out v8 or 6 cylinder, barely enough power to pull it's self. thats all you need in the show and ice
I think there was 1 for a short time when i was tiny. I just remember being in the middle of the seat of the truck and any time daddy's foot went for the brake pedal I had arm slammed across my chest.
It is kinda sad really. I haven't watched any movies and such since the election. Knowing actors I enjoyed like harrison ford for example , went harris, I just can't bring myself to watch their movies. it feels like I am condoning their actions. so if these actors were depending on me for income, they are just fucked.

I don't know that they are the "best asses" because an ass is an ass. As far as I'm concerned, they tick the box on being an ass.......
Husband, "ok honey".
Husband brings home diet pills and hands them to his wife.
For some odd reason she got pissed off about that?
edit, well now i can. oh well.
