I've been a member since 2012 and I feel like now may be the time to close my account down. I'm not really sure I get anything out of this site at all anymore.

May be, but I look at if from a scientific point of view, so to say. You did not interact much with people, yet you spent 5 years on the site. It's hard to believe you looked at dicks pics all this time and only now lost interest. I would be bored looking at genitals of different people that I do not know after one week probably, if not less.

So it's really interesting to me to know reasons that made you stay.

I suppose that it all depends what you feel that you want to get out of the site.I would offer you the same advice that I was given when contemplating closing my account towards the end of last year; take a break but leave your account active while you decide what it is you want to get out of the site.
After 3 months I returned, but playing a somewhat different role.

The advice isn't bad, by the way, I gave it to a girl last week who said she was thinking of leaving. I said "go ahead and take your pics down too if you're not comfortable leaving 'em up, it's better than having to make a new account when you decide you wanna use it again."
She said "that's a good idea!! " and a couple days later her account was closed.

I have really lost interest in spending too much time looking at galleries. I do check out the female galleries from time to time though and there are certain people who I am friends with who I exchange messages with regularly. The big change is that now I tend to spend more time in the forums.
I also post very little now and frequently take the posts down.
I a not really interested in a lot of the threads but those that catch my eye I join and am interested in the views expressed and the responses to my comments.
So really now I just dip in and out when I feel the mood take me whereas previously i spent quite a bit of time on here having conversations that really were not what i was looking for.

Not much as far as cause of death just the date he passed and where the service was being held. I wasnt a fan of his towards his last days here, but sorry to hear he passed. My condolences to his family and friends.

HellRaiser13, if your post is directed at me, I was not the first member to use the word "rumor". I received a private message from a low key member that messaged me more than 1 month ago regarding JohnS who was in personal contact with JohnS (via email) right up until the end of April. He showed me the same information and told me the last time he heard from JohnS was April 26th and assured me that if he found out more, he would share that information with me.

A rumor is nothing more than information that is not proven to be true. I'm not certain that an internet obituary found for John Pope Spooner is conclusive.

I also doubt there are multiple John Spooners running around Adelaide that are the same age that just stopped emailing people pics of his dogs and their ancedotes. I was not getting along with John at the end of his time here but I got regular emails about the dogs. So using common sense, I'm going to assume the Obituary I was shown is real.
