So what is everyone’s plans for thanksgiving this year
Marcy wants to do thanksgiving dinner at my place and I don’t like her son and snickers don’t like her son so I’m thinking maybe i get a encore turkey dinner and a loaf of bread and snickers and I go to the garage and microwave us some open faced turkey sandwiches just me and snickers
Happy thanksgiving everyone
Well if we aren't in another covid lock down I will spend it with what little family I have left.
Cousin cooks a good turkey and my aunt makes the best stuffin you ever eat,and those deviled eggs! OH MY.
But that will be probably the day before thanksgiving because some of the family has a chance to work for double pay on holidays.
So On the BIG day, Banquet turkey dinner. I used to buy a turkey breast and cook it in the oven, last year, just to damn costly.

You don't like Marcy's son? What are his feelings about you? Perhaps if he's astute, he will decline and there will be no reason for you and Snickers to be in the garage.
Joking aside, you and the son have one thing in common and that's Marcy. I'm sure she's hoping to share the holiday with the people she loves.
Is it possible that you might take the guy aside and have a man-to-man conversation with him and agree to set your differences aside in order to have a harmonious holiday? Regardless of whether he likes you or not, it is your house and he should not only be respectful to his mother but to you, as well. Your house and your rules.
I could i guess I did last year
But my idea of a nice thanksgiving is Marcy her daughter and I and snickers of course quietly at home we eat at noon and i take a nap at 2:00 now that is a great thanksgiving
If that's the way you enjoy Thanksgiving, Marcy, her daughter, Snickers and you, that's alright. But this Thanksgiving, just set an extra place setting for her son. I realize that's not the way you envisioned the perfect Thanksgiving meal however I'm quite sure that your average day does not always pan out the way you plan but you are the type of man that doesn't sweat it when things go sideways, you just roll with the flow.....
And it's perfectly alright to be quirky. What are you being quirky about? Do you only like an odd number of dinner guests? Well, if that's the case ask the son plus one. It is your house and your guests should be respectful to you but you need to consider that your house is now Marcy's house and you really need to be considerate of her feelings, too. If you feel that her son has disrespected you in anyway, you might want to say something to her and allow her to speak to her son.
This year we are doing it at my son's house. We are roasting a pig and all the family and in-laws are coming. That's about 40+ people. On Sunday we are at my daughter's home with turkey and trimmings. Just our family and some friends. That's 14 of us.
You can go to cats sons place for a roasted pig they are having 40 people there I’m sure one more person won’t hurt --------------------------------------- added after 4 minutes
My god 40 people i would be a basket case I used to go to parties with over 400 people there but as i get older i find I’m getting antisocial you know 2 is company and 3 is a crowd
Hey, she said the party is at her son's house though.
You and Marcy can come to Florida any time your darn boss gives you some time off. I live in a 55+ community and I will gladly give you a place to stay. C'mon down, anytime and we will plan an outing to CAT and Charlie's place!
40 people who, mainly, talk Spanish or Spanglish. The roasted pig is wild hog hunted in Central Florida by my daughter-in-law’s cousins. Plenty of Mojo sauce, pork rind and rice, black beans (con gri), vinegar, onions and cucumber salad, mash potatoes, grilled corn ears, and flan.
Nice enjoy your pig roast have you ever been to a Rocky Mountain oyster festival there a big thing in my area all the beer and bull nuts you can eat just 10 dollars
JUGGING, a term that I've not heard however based on this video, very scary! Jugging is when thugs/criminals follow their victims from the bank or ATM for the purpose of robbing them.
I didn't know the term, but it happens. Mostly it's old people who still use the ATM.
In 2021, a 86 year old man took out €10,000 and then got robbed. I'm 6ft2 and 260 lb, but I wouldn't feel comfortable walking around with €10,000 in cash. It's making it too easy to get robbed. There is no good reason to use cash for anything. There are enough alternatives. I'm educating my parents and mother in law about it; "You have that card, use it!".
They can rob you of your card too, but that gets them at maximum a few hundred dollars, if they are quick and you are not quickly blocking it. However, in my country the insurance will pay for your loss, if your card is stolen, but it's hard to prove that you carried that much cash, when you got robbed. Also, the insurance can call you irresponsible for carrying around lots of cash and not pay you back.
On September 17, Sir-Skittles posted that member #695944, crimsonnoose departed from the site (AGAIN). If memory serves me correctly, she mentioned that she needed a "mental health" break. I sincerely hope she stays focused and receives help with her outlook on life aka attitude and her self esteem.

I doubt that you're antisocial, perhaps you've just become accustomed to the peace and quiet of your own home.

It sure would be fun to crash her party and just show up my goodness the look on her face if we both walked in together
