Jamie is so silly! He created a new poll, here's the link /polls/4520.html

So Jamie says he saves NAKED pictures of both men and women and seems to be "confused" about how he is perceived. He wants your opinion as to whether you feel he is gay, bisexual or straight. In my opinion, Jamie is none of those, there should have been option 4 which is HOARDER!

Jamie, you are a straight up HOARDER! I calls 'em as I sees 'em!
By #610414 11,Sep,23 13:57
Jamie, any one of those choices could be a description of your sexual orientation. I personally don’t care. You seem like a nice man and have been so to me. The actions that you are asking about could be done by a straight, BI, or gay guy and not define you.
If I’m allowed an observation, and, remember, this is my opinion, lately, you’ve been trying to shock the members with your quasi-risqué polls. Are you trying to
“come out” or want more interaction with the members?
No matter what, you’ve got an on-line friend here.❤️😈

I’m sorry to hear that, but, I can relate to that. I really like the site, but, sometimes it does get old. I’ve quit a few times and when I missed it, I came back. Unfortunately, you loose all your privileges and have to start all over again if you do come back.
If I may give some advice, delete all your pics except the oldest one and just check in every 20 or 30 days, just so the system doesn’t delete you. After a good amount of time, then you can decide if you want to come back or want to close this chapter of your life. Whatever you decide, have a wonderful rest of your life, friend. 🥰😈

Cat you have been nice to me. I don't know why sir skittles and pitbull always talk dhit about you..
Agreed, that question is very open to interpretation.
However, I answered it according to what I think Jamie means,
and then I answered 'bisexual'.

That, I think, is the correct term for people who are attracted to both genders,
which I think is what people are, if they save pictures of men and women,
unless they are doing it for other motives than attraction.

Just an f.y.i., I interpreted Jamie's poll in the same manner. Sometimes I just want to "make light of a situation" and put a fun twist on his poll.

IT is time for Americans to buy American made stuff that is not subsidizing the corrupt union boss's.

Hear! Hear!
By #610414 10,Sep,23 16:50
The first part is a good idea (as long as American manufacturers actually manufacture the stuff). The second part has nothing to do with the manufacturing and everything to do with good wages for the American worker. Union bosses are elected by the members of the union.
By phart [Ignore] 10,Sep,23 19:55 other posts
and I guess you don't think there is any thing crooked about those elections either right?
By #610414 11,Sep,23 07:37
God, give me patience. Yes, Phart, every election, in every union local, is crooked and we know why. Biden and his party wants to screw the Great, Wonderful, Caring, employers of this country.

We can’t make any thing in America remember our government came up with a group called the EPA and they say it’s too dangerous to make our own products this group has been around since 1973 the demise of our steel industry
By #610414 11,Sep,23 07:51
You and your Trunpies keep blaming the EPA for the loss of manufacturing. The truth is that manufacturing B4 the 1970's was frequently a dangerous and polluting entity, but, worse than that, they refused to change and invest in their industry.

With markets for steel shrinking, America's integrated steel manufacturers were forced to cut their production and sell steel at unprofitable prices. As they sought to reduce their enormous losses America's eight largest steel firms laid off large numbers of their workers and permanently closed a number of steel

Although foreign competition played a notable role in the decline of American steel employment, productivity gains have played an even larger role. By 1980, it was estimated that nearly one-fourth of American steel manufacturing was using outdated and inefficient methods and

That is what really happened and I was adult enough to understand, along with most of the rest of Americans, that the steel industry shot itself in the head.

So why should we worry about what mining iron ore does to the environment when Japan and China still mine iron ore and make steel the old way what’s the difference between the United States polluting or china and Japan polluting all we did was give away the steel business
By #610414 11,Sep,23 13:47
You are changing the subject. China and Japan would have mined the iron ore weather we do or not. Yes, we did give away the business. It was given away by the BIG BUSINESS BOSSES of the time. No profit here but lots of profit there. Those bosses, to a man, were Republicans, and, Nixon started the run and Reagan finished it. The only bright spot was Jimmy Carter. Unfortunately, he couldn’t control BIG BUSINESS.

Epa over regulates everything to a point it makes Transportation ,and energy cost prohibitive because of some smoke.
And to make it really disgusting, you can Buy carbon credits, if they were serious about it,you couldn't buy carbon credits.
It's all about control and taxes.
By #610414 11,Sep,23 19:24
I don't think so. It doesn't make transportation and energy costs prohibitive. It might make it higher but I don't see transportation going broke. Energy is adjusting very well except they, also, are not reinvesting in their industry.

And the MEMBER THAT HAS NO COMMON SENSE award is presented to *kmadeau* . Yep, *kmadeau* single handedly earned that award for freezing the Evaluation Panel abuse voting on bisexuellsinglefathe 's. Take a look at that member's profile.... A member since August 26, count 'em, 16 days. His gallery is predominately internet pictures which he "claims" ownership on by way the pictures are titled.

Example; /ddv2amqdm6b8pic.html this picture found here only registered users can see external links

Apparently, kmadeau wasn't able to read admin's "guidelines" which are posted as follows; "If you do not have any common sense you should not participate here!" admin has said on different occasions that he doesn't mind an occasional internet pic however the majority of the reported member's gallery was pinched from the internet. ALSO, this is a brand new member began his "relationship" with SYD/SYC, Showitoff
in a DECEPTIVE MANNER. Perhaps the new guy didn't read the site rules/guidelines;

"Posting Pictures & Uploading Video Content

Industry regulations require us to verify your identity and age. You can only upload content on this site after you submitted your verification documents. Regulations also require us to review your uploads before publishing to verify tere is no under/age content in them. So, your uploads are delayed until reviewed. By posting pictures or uploading any video, you confirm that this content belongs to you. You also confirm that all the people, appearing in the materials were 18 years old or older during the shooting. You further confirm that you hold the rights and releases to all content. The site strictly prohibits the utilization of any content you illegally download from the Internet. This includes but is not limited to the following: Other adult sites, magazines, or, pictures taken in a surreptitious manner. You agree to ONLY upload content that you have created yourself. Do not put yourself in legal jeopardy by taking or abusing media belonging to someone else.

You may view and or download content from the Internet for your own personal viewing. You are not allowed to post this type of content here. Violations that are identified will result in the deletion of your account. Site Administration will not provide any warnings."

So with the new guy's stats in mind, with 21 posted pictures the reporting member cites Internet matches for 5 different pictures and *kmadeau* decides to freeze the voting for the following reason: "I have sent him a pm to check this page and to make a decision about his problem..."

It is a problem, kmad, a problem that seasoned members should be sorting out!

About 18 months ago I joined a website called CLASSMATES hoping to touch base with some oid, and I do mean old classmates from high school. I connected with a guy going back as far as grade school, a former neighbor, my biology lab partner and there were a couple of underclassmen that said they had a crush on me. I assure you, in high school, I would not given a second look at or paid any attention to a boy that was 13 or 14 years old, BELIEVE THAT! I personally thanked those fellas for their kind compliments but suggested that they might have confused with my sister who is 20 months younger than me. If you ask me, I think I'm prettier but that's just MY OPINION!

Anyway....I received the following message from a fella that was in my class. He wrote similar blah, blah, blah.... "Looking as beautiful as ever I had a crush on you in school". It's strange how clearly I remember him from our senior year, in my mind, everybody is forever 17. He was a nice looking boy who, like me, went to an affluent school. Although we did not live in Grosse Pointe, we lived in the Grosse Pointe school district and that's were all the "old money" lives. Yep, Grosse Pointe is where auto pioneers ie Ford and Dodge resided lived, Roy Chapin, founder of the Hudson Motor Car Company as well as the Stroh family. Does the name Stroh sound familiar? Yeah, it was a beer brewed in Detroit and later sold to Pabst. Although I was the daughter of a Detroit high school teacher, I went to school with many privileged kids whose family had deeper pockets than the one I grew up in. I'm NOT COMPLAINING, I'm just EXPLAINING...

So back to this personal message, I'm off to thank him and geez Louise, I DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE MAN IN THE PROFILE PICTURE! Remember, my mind's eye freezes him at 17. Now he looks full blown native American, which isn't bad but THAT IS NOT WHO HE WAS A HUNDRED YEARS AGO! So I send a condensed and casual message saying what has going on and basically that "the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree" meaning I never moved away from Michigan and I'm less than 50 miles from "home" and mentioned my town. It's safe, right, he lives in Oregon. To my surprise, he has grown children in Michigan, one lives aboout 25 miles from me and the other one lives less than 3 miles away and her husband happens to be the freakin' mayor.

This is too close for comfort as far as I'm concerned. Like I said, I remember him at 17 looking like the epitome of a preppy boy, not Geronimo. He's arriving in Michigan on Friday and we have plans to meet for lunch on September 18. Keep me in your thoughts and send good vibes my way, he's from the west coast and probably possesses the west coast ideology.

Although this is a 60 Minutes Australia segment, this thinking represents Millennials all over the world. The Millennials want and are demanding a balance between work and life.

7 days a week,24 hours a day, 60 minutes in a hour.
Most folks that work a job are ask to work 40 hours a week.
That 5 8 hour days with 2 breaks and a lunch break in the middle.
168 hours in a week. they are ask to work 40.
some time allowed for getting to and from, still leaves a 100 hours a week or 400 hours a month out of 672. Plus if they have made any effort to get a decent job with benefits, they have paid vacation and sick leave.
So the balance has been there for decades, they just simply want to work even LESS hours and expect MORE money.
I think this shit will backfire on them. AI and automation are already nipping at the heels of most of the jobs millennials can handle if they get 4 cups of starbucks and 3 doobies in before 8 am.
They best be looking at ways of improving themselves and their education and skill levels if they want a more realistic "balance". Or they will wind up under bridges while computers do their work.
"beeep beep,do you want fries with that? Beep beep."
Another thing, did anyone else notice, when they showed a older person, they were using their hands for something BESIDES a friggen key pad? The young 1's hollaring for a "balance" all of them were using keypads. NO hammers, saws, wrenches, just keypads. The world can not continue without tools besides key pads in peoples hands.

Wow, I watched a few minutes of that and those millennials are some ungrateful lazy people. What makes them think they deserve ANYTHING more than those that paved the way for them???
IF the few people working don't work enough hours, things aren't going to get done. We already have shortages because of lack of labor as it is. If the few workers work less hours, EVEN less will get done.
Grow up,go to work and when you get your 30 years in and your gold watch, THEN SIT AT HOME AND PET YOUR CAT..

What a rude characterization of my generation. There's a lot of slackers, and a lot of us who are taking it by the horns. Yes, we're demanding a better work/life balance and we're getting our piece of the pie too. Wait till the real wave of retirements start, the gravy train is just leaving the station

I point to this article for a better explanation of the conditions I see on the horizon for the labor market. I think a lot of retirements are coming, especially after a recession or when they're forced to cut rates and people's retirement funds swell again. There's a lot of industries that are gonna to be in a bind, and big opportunities for people to fill those shoes.
By phart [Ignore] 31,Aug,23 16:45 other posts
Well with the labor shortage in the news, There is also AI in the news, that can and will help alot in the labor shortage. Eliminating the need to hire anyone. 2 people working in a large office that once had 20. Sure, their hourly wage may be a bit higher than any one of the group of 20,but the company will still be saving big money on labor because of saving in paying workers comp, retirement, sick leave ,vacation and etc.
People keep looking at the week to week paycheck and seem to forget ,that other stuff cost even MORE for the company to have to pay. The company is not there for the employees benifit, it is there to make and sell a product or service and PROFIT from it. Paying high wages to people that only want to work every other tuesday from 3 to 5:30 pm is not going to happen. If it was that simple, companys would just divvy out more money right now ,instead of talking about a labor shortage.

Well, help us understand ,why do you feel entitled to a better "work-Life balance than generations before you? What makes this group special?
Not trying to be a complete ass although I do tend to be straight forward with my feelings, but for the older folks to understand, you will need to explain to us why you expect better?
By Maxwell_93 [Ignore] 31,Aug,23 16:52 other posts
It's all good, I agree with a lot of your sentiments to an extent. I can only speak for myself and my cohorts in that a work/life balance is important and carries more weight in our employment/lifestyle decisions than it did for previous generations imo. I'm not entitled to it, I just know it's what I want and it's going to be respected if someone expects to work for them
By phart [Ignore] 31,Aug,23 16:56 other posts
Why does it carry more weight? Reason I ask, my dad worked for 30 years, 4 10 hour days, usually had a 3 hour commute to and from the work before and after. 3 days off with family. Alot of companies still do that. What is different now than 30 years ago?
By Maxwell_93 [Ignore] 31,Aug,23 17:01 other posts
That's a whole different story, I can't say I'd deal with that commute but a 4 day week is definitely attractive. Something simple like that, or a day working remote gives you more home time and doesn't (shouldn't) impact productivity. Those are the kinds of perks that attract people with this mindset.
By phart [Ignore] 31,Aug,23 17:16 other posts
My commute was 30 miles each way. It was some of the best time of my day , relaxing drive down a country road straight shot,28 of the 30 miles. Gave me time to listen to good music or the news or just listen to the radials on the ashphalt. I can't imagine sitting in traffic in a big city for a hour that would drive me NUTS

Then there's MY GENERATION by Limp Bizkit

If only we could fly
Limp Bizkit style
John Otto, take 'em to the Matthews Bridge
Can you feel it?
My g-g-generation
Get up, my g-g-generation
(Are you ready?) Are you ready?
Do you know where you are?
Welcome to the jungle punk, take a look around
It's Limp Bizkit, fuckin' up your town
We downloaded the Shockwave
For all the ladies in the cave to get your groove on
And maybe I'm the one who flew over
The cuckoo's nest, but guess who's next? (Who?)
Generation X (X), generation Strange (Strange)
Sun don't even shine through our window pane (through our window pane)
So go ahead and talk shit
Talk shit about me
And go ahead and talk shit
About my g-g-generation
'Cause we don't, don't give a fuck, and
We won't ever give a fuck until you
You give a fuck about me
And my generation
Hey kid, take my advice
You don't want to step into a big pile of shit (shh)
Captain's drunk, your world is Titanic
Floating on the funk, so get your groove on
And maybe I am just a little fucked up
Life's just a little fucked up
Generation X (X), generation Strange (Strange)
Sun don't even shine through our window pane (window pane)
So go ahead and talk shit
Talk shit about me
And go ahead and talk shit
About my g-g-generation
'Cause we don't, don't give a fuck, and
We won't ever give a fuck until you
You give a fuck about me
And my generation
We don't, don't give a fuck, and
We won't ever give a fuck until you
You give a fuck about me
And my generation
Who gets the blame? (Who gets the blame?)
You get the blame and I get the blame
Who gets the blame? (Who gets the blame?)
You get the blame and I get the blame
But do you think we can fly? (Away, away)
Do you think we can fly? (Away)
Do you think we can fly?
Well I do, I do, fuck
DJ Lethal Bring it on
Oh yeah, come on
So go ahead and talk shit
Talk shit about me
And go ahead and talk shit
About my g-g-generation
'Cause we don't, don't give a fuck, and

Phart
24 hrs/day equals 168 hrs/week or 728 hrs/month—there are 7months with 31 days, 4months with 30 days and 1 month with 28/29 days.
Let’s work with a week since that is always the same:
40 hrs/week work or 8 hrs/day. It doesn’t matter if you get breaks and/or lunch, it’s still part of “work”. Let’s say, to be conservative, that it takes an employee 1 hr in the morning to get ready and 1 hr to commute. That’s 3 hrs per day and that, too, is part of “work”. So, now, an employee spends a total of 11 hrs/day, five days/week or 55 hrs/week. Everyone in the planet requires 8 hrs/day of sleep, or 42 hrs/week. That’s a total of 97 hrs/week that an employee can’t use for personal time. That leaves a total of 71 hrs free time or an average of 10 hrs/day. But, wait, if an employee sleeps 8 hrs in one day and works another 11 hours, that leaves seven hours to cook, eat, shop for groceries and whatever.
That’s the reason for the weekends and vacation and sick leave. All these benefits are not “given” out of the kindness of the employers heart. They do it or they get no workers to make their business go.

AI is not the boogie man you make it out to be. Let’s take the “menial” jobs you allude to. An automatic fryer will time how long French fries are cooked, but, a live person has to load the fries, salt them, bag them and give to customer. A nurse in a hospital has a computer cart to input test results and dispense meds, but, she has to put the pressure cuff on the patient or, at the very least, plug it in. I don’t know of any AI that empties bedpans. I don’t know of any AI that can find a vein to inject a person. Clerical people, and I worked most of my time in hospitals in an office, may have AI assistance, just like I did, but, I had to input all data that went into the programs for billing, ordering, and even troubleshooting. I had to talk to patients. I had to take their payments.
There are thousands of jobs that AI will never be able to fill. The cost would be so large, no corporation would be willing to invest in it. Some repetitive jobs can be done by AI, but, change one step on that procedure and the whole thing has to be reprogrammed.

Workers use whatever tools they need to use. It’s easy to show a person using a keypad. It’s much harder to show a worker using a hammer to strike a nail, then a chisel. Or, using a plane and then a saw. Same for power tools and other products, but, show me a carpenter making a written quote for a customer and 99% of the time he’ll use a calculator, and if he has to show what the work will look like, he’ll most probably use a computer with special programming.

A few people working? Go anywhere and ask any bunch of people how many have jobs (including house person) and most will tell you they work. Just because there’s a shortage of people to fill every job does not mean people are lazy, but, I know a bunch of people that would love to work at those jobs. All you conservatives have to do is issue bigger numbers of immigration quotas. Let them in legally in the proportion of unfilled jobs.
I don’t have to think they deserve “ANYTHING more than those that paved the way for them”, but, it’s their lives and they can live it as they want.

I am looking forward to 1 of these being on the used equipment market so I can get 1 to help me around the house. Mow grass, trim bushes, oh that will be nice.

On a more serious note, these folks wanting ridiculas labor rates and so much time off, better be looking over their shoulders for these machines. They will improve in quality, they will be able to do MORE in 5-10 years. and that is when a machine that can work hours and hours with a simple batter swap, will replace a human that wants a Latte and a cig every 15 minutes. and NO insurance needed, no retirement plans to fund, no paid vacation time that is money companys throw into a void they get nothing back for and etc.
OH the future is bright,I just hope I am around to see all these folks WHINE on the street corners that coulda been working making a wage, watching robots do their jobs BETTER, faster, longer, cheaper
Another thing I really like,

If these jobs were worth so much money, they would have always paid high salary's as is demanded today .
If these people want to be paid more ,they need to invest in themselves and become WORTH MORE>
It takes less effort now to operate a motor car than it did in 1940.
It takes much less effort to clean a bathroom because the chemicals are stronger-better, the surfaces are less prone to hold germs.
Nothing as is as hard as it was 20+ years ago. but yet everyone thinks they are worth so much more.
IF a janitor expects 35 a hour, what would the engineer think he is worth since he went to the university and got a degree for his job? 150 a hour? where does it stop? Nothing will change with these Ludacris wages these people want. If Gm has to pay for 32 hours at 40hour pay with a raise, what will that do to the already high prices of vehicles? Do you think they will cut into their profits? no, a 60,000 dollar truck will become a 75,000 dollar truck and etc. The hamster wheel will keep on spinning until the hamster is dead.

Besides, if you did your job for 20 a hour before you retired, and your current equal is making 35 a hour, to me, you should be getting reappreciations from your employer.
Why is your replacement worth more than you were?
This inflation thing would stop dead in it's tracks if cost were frozen.

Someone got tired of hearing doors slamming and babies crying.
Wow, it would be safer to keep quite and be respectful of neighbors don't you think?

phart, you can't be serious!

I don't doubt that when you live below someone there are noises related, ie people walking, "doors slamming", heck, there might be noise issues related to radios and T.V.'s, too. But a gripe about babies? Babies don't talk and do cry.... When babies cry, it's because something is wrong and I can't imagine that any parent would allow their baby to cry for an unreasonable amount of time without trying to soothe him/her. My guess is that the downstairs neighbor is an over reactive, irrational wack-job.

Yes I agree, but if their noise was bothering him, they should have done something about it, it about got them killed ,psycho or not.
That is 1 of the things I can't understand about people .Noise bothers me but I don't have any issues because I live away from others enough that the worst I have to put up with is a noisy Heafer in the neighbors pasture or some gun targe practice down the road, if the down stairs neighbor is that bugged out by noise, he needs to move to a remote location. I feel sure prison will be miserable for him because of the noise.

Yea, a police officer has his own private range down the road, and trust me, they must get a discount on ammo.

It must be heaven to live in the mountains or a rural area where all you hear are gunshots from a range. People, especially kids, are loud as hell and when you live so close it is disturbing especially when there's no way to shut them up. It's hell living with noise! On the other hand, this is what this world has come to regarding what this guy did.

He chose a cruel way to deal with a problem for sure.
A real sinister, evil spirited person. But he was driven to a point of frustration. He is 1 of those time bombs, just waiting for someone or something to trip it.
His choice of revenge or justice or whatever you may call it though was not with a gun, but with something he knew more about had access to, chemicals.
Anger breeds vengeance and creativity alike. Until you fix that, you will never solve the violent events our country suffers from.

well yes but without saying too much how I feel, these kids and other noisy neighbors take a toll on us who have to be subjected to them. Lack of sleep from their dam noise not only screws up your life but it's very bad for your health. People need to sleep not be disturbed by some uncivilized loud ass neighbors.

I feel for you sweetheart you know what I hear at night
Crickets and owls 🦉 sometimes a few raccoons 🦝 throwing my trash cans around the yard

Them damn owls, some of their screeches sound like a kid screaming at the the top of it's lungs!
1 thing I have to put up with is calves that are being weened from their mothers. Not only does the calf make alot of noise at night, but the mother cow's udder is swollen to hell and she is SORE and bellering ALL NIGHT LONG wanting that milk GONE.

thanks dgraff, I know I said it before but I'll say it again, living in the mountains hearing only crickets must be heaven on earth. Imagining that is the most beautiful picture in my minds eye.
