If you don’t like the name your parents gave you, maybe you should see this... I can’t stop laughing. Poor kiddo.
Name shaming? This Texas woman claims a SouthwestAir agent made fun of her 5-year-old daughter's name as they were preparing to board their flight at JohnWayneAir in Orange County.
Her daughter's name is Abcde (pronounced Ab-city). @ABC7 only registered users can see external links
When the c,hild gets closer to adulthood, she is really going to h8te her parents for that name. Why would anyone saddle a c,hild with a name that's not even a real name?
It seems like women's names will date them. My grandmother's name is Edith. Who names their offspring Edith now? My mother's name is Helen. You don't hear that anymore. And my name, it is definitely a 40's, 50's 60's name and you don't hear it any more.
It seems like Jennifer was a very popular name of the 70's and 80's.
Some of the younger folks at the office have decided on old time names, one that readily comes to mind is Lucille and he refers to her as Lucy. Other than that, I'm not sure what is trending now for names for girls.
My name is associated with white trashy girls thanks to the movie Ted. But even before then I loathed it because people assumed I would grow up to be worthless or that I’m not very intelligent. I had an algebra teacher tell me with a name like mine that I should be greatful for being pretty as I probably wouldn’t amount to much and would be lucky if I ran the cash register at the local Dairy Queen or found luck as a stipper.
I think your name is pretty it means that in Spanish.
My sisters didn’t fare too well in the name department either. My mom gave both of them very old fashioned names. Although one shares her name with an annoying cartoon explorer.
Really, a teacher spoke to you in that manner? That was very cruel and sounds like something that a woman would say. I don't know how you were able to finish the year in that class, I think I would have asked my counselor for a transfer.
Can someone kindly explain an IP or ISP to me? I know it is used to identify "you" on the internet. There must be a series of numbers that is code like talk that indicates who the user is. Is it possible for people to have similar IP/ISP's?
ISP is Internet Service Provider that is company and their servers which you use to access the internet.
IP is what is called you Internet Protocol address or IP. This is a unique number that is assigned to your device (computer, phone, etc.) that uniquely identifies you device. Every device that gets connected to the internet gets a unique number. That number is how the service provider uses so it can find you.
And example of an IP address looks like this:
74.556.997.342 (IPv4)
Without that number/address there is no way you can communicate. No other device has the same address as yours.
Lots of people can use the same ISP, but no device can have the same IP address as another.
But since they ran out of IP address they went to a new addressing strategy called IPv6. IPv6 is a much larger number.
Not sure what you mean by similar. Now you might be able to have an ip address like 554.226.227.193 and 554.226.227.194. But having that doesn't mean they are the same device. They are not. It could be devices owned by the same person, computer and router or 2 separate computers owned by 2 different individuals or whatever. Each device on the internet has a unique IP address. That means every phone, computer, router, server, etc. has a different IP address. Some addresses can be assigned in bulk, that is a provider can say a certain company can have an IP address like this: 195.195.195.xxx where xxx can be the numbers assigned to each of the devices owned by that company or individual.
IP addresses must be unique to the device. Or the communications cannot take place.
I recall there was a time here that if you tried to gift someone or transfer points, it would block that action and say you can not gift yourself. It had something to do with the IP address being the same. Admin can correct me if I'm wrong there. Back in the main chat days, some would make multiple accounts after being banned from the site. After the ban it would blacklist the users IP address. To avoid that, it was easy to just turn on the airplane mode for most wireless enabled devices, then power them off and on. After the restart and turning off airplane mode and also making sure to completely clear the browsers cache and history the ISP would issue a new IP address thus allowing a new account to be created. There were also ways to mask using VPN's. --------------------------------------- added after 64 minutes
Also I remember that if you logged into someone else's account although you had different IP's and ISP's it would recognize that account now belonging to you. I'm kinda glad that the IP address for a user no longer shows next to their name in chat. Although it only really tells a person the area of where your located it was used to cause trouble. But now days it possible to have an IP address that says its in Denver when your'e actually in Texas. I think that has to do with where the ISP has the server located for the region and how it authenticates. --------------------------------------- added after 65 minutes
It could be possible, if you access the internet using an LAN from you home or work you could possibly be sharing the same IP address as others even if different devices are being used because they share the same ISP.
You are partially wrong, but it's nothing to be ashamed of.
1. IP addresses can't have numbers more than 255 in any of the positions. Least is 0.0.0.0 most is 255.255.255.255, because it's basically 4 bytes, each ccan't store more than 256 values (0-255). This sometimes is incorrectly shown in Hollywood movies (I remember several occasions when the numbers were over 255).
2. Most of user devices are behind NAT these days, dedicated IPs are rare. User devices have different unique addresses in local network indeed otherwise they could not work correctly, but ISP translates them to their pool of external IP addresses that is usually not so big, so from a huge ISP like Comcast or AT&T a lot of different users can access a site using which seems to that site to be the same IP address.
There is also what is called a MAC address, or media access control number. This is the unique identifier that is assigned to the NIC card or network interface controller for communications. Most of these numbers are hard wired or burned into the device and cannot be changed. MAC address are permanently assigned, usually by the manufacturer.
This question is inspired by the "Bush or no bush?" thread, I want to take it one step further.
For men or women who are attracted to women, do you find it sexy, appealing, whatever, when you see a woman that maintains her natural body hair on her legs, underarms and groin?
With the way that women h.a.t.e. on and talk about each other in certain circles. I feel like legs and underarms are a MUST. As they can be seen rather easy with some clothes that women wear. Albeit it's more accepted as the "norm", I think I would prefer those two be shaven myself. As for the groin area... I personally prefer bush, but not Don King kinda bush. Nicely trimmed like the lawn of a golf course. Reason... Because it's more indicative of a woman and not a lil girl.
Your opening sentence is not a complete thought so I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Yes, I agree, women tend to be more catty then men. I know that I would probably do a double take if I saw a woman in a tank top or sundress sporting a serious growth of hair in her armpits.
What I meant was... Other women are a Woman's biggest critic. I fully believe that most of a Woman's outward appearance is for their fellow sisters and a portion to make themselves feel beautiful. Example; when my wife asks me how she looks in whatever. She's asking me so that the women that she works with have nothing negative to say about her. Not cause she trying to impress me. I don't see her when she's at work. Therefore, since non hairy legs and armpits are generally accepted as, the "norm" those are a must to be done. Having worked several jobs where I was the lone Male or very few of us. I will tell you, women talk about each other, BAD! I mean brutally... 😆 It's really something I've never understood. Guys aren't like that. Consequently, I left all those jobs because of the drama within. True story! 😉
Yes, I agree, women are another woman's biggest critic. Some of the lunchroom conversations can be really wild. When I get dressed for work or otherwise, I can't honestly say that I'm concerned about what the women I work with might think or say. I want to feel good and confident about my appearance. If I ask my fella, it might be at a time when we are going out together and I want his input as I would like feel that he is as happy with my appearance as I am. It's kinda like the "speak now or forever hold your peace" moment. Don't tell me 20 minutes into our night that you prefer my black dress when I'm wearing my blue dress, dammit!
100% of what you say, Scorpio69 is the absolute truth. Women’s behavior in that regard can be solely blamed on us. Men. Our constant wandering eye has cemented the reason for this competition. Why do women wear makeup? Fundamentally because “WE” have made them insecure.
I wear makeup because I want to wear makeup. It makes me feel good about myself, and honestly I know a lot of men don't like it but I really don't give a fuck. As for shaving, its looks gross when women don't shave their armpits or legs. I don't that is being catty or a hater, but personally when I see it, it makes me think this chick is unwashed and nasty and probably smells bad. I would also think this of a man that has a scraggly ass unkempt beard, extra back hair, or an extremely hairy chest, crotch or eyebrows. I'm not into women and never will be, so I don't care if they have a bush or not. As for men, I like a bit of pubic hair as long as its neat and smells clean and looks clean. Shaved is okay, but I too tend to link that look with someone that isn't of age, and that's a turnoff.
Based on your response, "all you can eat buffet table", I suspect that you are talking about the groin. So your preference is shaved or smooth. Do you feel the same way about legs and underarms?
I am in agreement with you, veryshyguy, and the other gentlemen. I do not think hairy underarms or hairy legs are sexy or attractive on a woman, but that is just my opinion. As for the groin, I keep myself neatly trimmed.
I kinda lean toward facial hair on men, the scruffy look, a neatly trimmed shorter beard. YUM! There have been several members that I have asked, show me your chin. Care to show me your chin? I suspect that you do not have facial hair. Am I correct?
In porn, it kind of is a fetish porn thing for me (hairy down stairs on a woman [probably coz i'm just old enough to have grown up watching VHS pornos from the late 70s and 80s that i i used to steal from my parents]...not hairy anywhere else though). Laser treatment doesn't cost that much anymore and then the hair is gone forever - a woman's legs should be smooth as silk, in my opinion.
Pubic hair on a woman in real life, no! Nothing worse than pubes in your mouth or a red rash around your mouth from going down. I try and stay hairless down there too - only fair coz i expect it of a woman
Just a question; has anyone ever received a telephone call in which the caller I.D. reflects is coming from (000)000-0000? I've received 3 calls from this number and I don't answer my phone.
There are now 13 Canadian cannabis related companies trading on North American stock exchanges. There are also 130 companies in Canada now growing legal marijuana.

I guess I had no idea that 13 cannabis related companies trading on the North American stock exchange and 130 Canadian companies growing legal marijuana meant BIG DOG or leading the way.

I don't find "hairy" women attractive.
