No denying that, and such a mass of people trying to enter our country can be very difficult to handle. However, if the military can build a multipurpose base in less than 2 weeks,then they can build a refugee camp to accommodate this group of people before they get here. I don't say keep them all, but, legitimate ones that need our help. We are big enough, and rich enough, to do good. I don't believe in organized religion, but, isn't the Christian thing to do is help?

I saw an Abuse referral hours ago based on a picture uploaded as a "Temporary Upload".

QUESTION; Where is a Temporary Upload picture actually uploaded to, the pussy category, via private message, where? The reason for referral was submitted as "Il*legal Image". One member pointed out that the picture was a web derived picture. It was. One member said the model looked young. She did. All in all, I didn't feel like I had enough information or a solid understanding of the essence of a Temporary Upload, how the referring member acquired it, etc, therefore did not feel qualified to vote.

What I find interesting is the number of people that utilize the online grocery shopping process. I suppose if my grocery needs were simple, Green Giant canned corn, a 4 roll pack of Charmin toilet tissue, Stouffer brand frozen French bread pizza, Romaine lettuce, etc , it would be fine. I can't imagine someone picking out my pork chops, tomatoes, bananas....

Has anyone used this service and are you pleased with it?

I have a few times. It was ok, but seeing the products on screen can be quite deceptive and I recall ending up with some things that were smaller portions than I expected/wanted. I didn't order any fresh produce though. I imagined the staff just grabbing the first number of selected items and I could end up with icky ones I wouldn't pick myself. Plus, I like local fruit and veg shops if I can help it too. The big chains are putting those little shops out of business, and I don't like that.

NO! I buy a mess of things from Amazon and even Amazon now has a "pantry" department.

I don't "trust" people to shop like I would shop for myself. Tonight on the way home from work, I stopped for a few things for next week. I don't want to be in the grocery store this weekend nor next week, leading up to our Thanksgiving Day on Thursday. I bought several things but I ALWAYS check dates. I picked up some cottage cheese that had a fresh to date of 11/21 (6 days) and rummaged around and found on dated 12/5. I bought the product with the longer shelf life. Even soda I will check for dates. It's rough finding diet soda that has a longer than 6 week shelf life. I don't drink soda every day or every week, but dammit, if I want one next month I don't want it to be flat OR taste like a tin can.

Oh, I've never even considered food on Amazon.
I'm the same in not "trusting" someone to pick produce for me.
It's been years since I last did this, but I used to like going to green grocers and fresh food markets for all the colours and aromas of the produce, especially when I was in a delis or places that sell spices.

I did for a brief period a few years ago. I found it took alost as long as doing the actual shopping but then I do live close to the actual supermarket that we use and didn't persist in my efforts. i would rather go to the store but I know family and friends who swear by online shopping.

The holidays are fast approaching and I saw a commercial that brought back childhood memories. It had to do with the "grownup table".

I am 1 of 3 daughters for my parents. My father was an only c*hild, my mother was 1 of 3. Her s*ister, my aunt, never had c*hildren and her br*other, my uncle, never married nor had c*hildren, so where I'm going with this, I have no cousins, the "k1ds" were just me and my s1sters. When there were family gatherings, there was a HUGE dining room table prepared for the grownups and the card table prepared for us "k1ds". There was a time, a time that I could not wait to be old enough to join the others at the "grownup table". Sadly, I didn't recognize that the ticket to that table was not when I reached a certain age, the only way a place was opened up was with the passing of a relative.

You have just brought back a memory that had long since faded. on Christmas Day evening we would visit y Grandparents for our evening meal, generally what we would call a cold collation I suppose, but we **** all had our own table. i can see it clearly now as i think about it.
Thank you for reviving that memory. Christmas as a **** with all these individual memories was magical. What a pity we have to grow up.

I have a beard and have had it since I was 18 years old.Never been with out it all that time,quit several well paying jobs over the years because they wanted me to shave for one reason or another. I have had it at all different lengths throughout that time,longest was back in the late 80's it was over 15 inches long,never had any problems with it bothering me in any way,love my beard and couldn't imaging being without it,on the other hand I dis like hair in general and have been completely body hair free for most of my adult life,removed it all permanently.

Likewise, mate - with regards to my chest hair and "down there hair". I have had a tonne of beard styles too. As you know, Ray (with my coming and going here) - i'm not much of a "stayer". Everytime i grow a full beard it starts to annoy me after a month to 6 weeks, chop it off and then regret it straight away. Australian humidity and heat doesn't help. I noticed a difference in a few of them. Mainly with the fingers and fingernails. I have checked several pics on tineye and can't find anything. Quite frankly there's almost 600 pictures and I don't have the time to check them all. But I have yet to find anything on tineye.

I can't imagine that someone who is not on the site with any regularity is able to moderate any group effectively.

That's why I posed the initial question, what qualifies a member to be a mediator of a group.
