Just what I needed to hear this morning, citizens insurance, my homeowners ins, is getting approval to increase all south Florida homeowners insurance by 14%. That’s another $1100.00 a year for me. There really making it hard for people to get there house insured. For people with a mortgage, if they drop there ins. The bank that holds the mortgage will increase the monthly payment to compensate for not having coverage. I feel sorry for the low income and the elderly people who live on a fixed income.
I'm not sure if you're being funny or if you're being sensitive. Please don't be sensitive. I ❤️ it when you, Sir-Skittles and ChainsawGutsFuck start posting in Spanish because I need to use my translator to see what was said. Tell Cody to kiss your behind (in Spanish) and throw in one of these little guys just in case he isn't fluent......
Ok, this is just stuff,,, this morning at 8am I went for two blood withdrawals for tests for two different doctors, ten viles of blood were taken, great, got them both done at the same time, I brought extra cloths and a bathing suit with me because I decided to go to the beach, it was so fricken hot at the beach and no wind what so ever, the water was very warm, I was sweating a lot and became very dehydrated, plus the effect of giving so much blood, I passed out, for the first time in my life, after I came to two girls and a guy helped me back to the parking lot, which took about a half hour because I had to sit several time to keep from passing out again, it was like 106+ on the beach, they gave me plenty of water to drink and poor on me to cool me off. So what I’m getting at, don’t give blood and go on the beach right afterwards on a hot day. The best part is, one of the girls gave me her phone number and we’re going out on a date tonight.
Wow, glad you didn't try to go for a swim or anything.Looks like they woulda warned you about taking it easy after giving blood. Of course, most consider going to the beach to be taking it about as easy as a person can. but still, glad you are ok and enjoy the date.
He just gave blood. He couldn't be expected to "pump up the volume" for at least a couple days bud!
I hope it went well for him regardless.
I am sorry I just had thought about the song earlier in the day and realized i could mix it in with my response above.
Anywho for those over sea's that may not have heard the song.
My date went very well, took her to a tp class restaurant (the boat yard) and had dinner and drinks, then went back to her place where we watched a movie, afterwards a kiss goodnight and plans next Tuesday night. Didn’t try to be too forward, just wanted her to feel comfortable and to feel safe with me. I needed that date, haven’t been out on a date in several months,,, had a great time.
Hey, I didn't go for a blood draw however yesterday I attended the offshore powerboat races in St. Clair, MI and the heat and the sun about knocked the snot outta me.
Just as you suggest, the excessive blood draw coupled with the extreme humidity, heat and and sunshine in Florida will exacerbate the situation. Good to know that there were alert folks nearby that recognized your need and were able to help. It's rather sad that nowadays there are folks that just don't want to get involved.
I'm not sure which pest I despise more, the fly or the mosquito.
Dang, a fly spends most of its day stomping on poop and then trying to land on my coffee cup, counter top or me. And the darn mosquitoes aren't any better trying to buzz my head at night or land upon my foot and bite me.
Since this is bit long i will do a short version but you will find it funny Dogs diary to a cats Dogs diary 9am to 11pm everything is its favourite thing Cats diary Day 983 of my captivity in effort to disgust them i vomited on their carpet. Today i decapitated a mouse and dropped its heartless body near them.
Here is a question if you could time travel to any point in history and meet any famous figure and ask any question. Who,when and what question ? For me edgar a poe. And how did you come up with the raven ?
Mendela effect wondering if anyone here beliefs or has heard of it. But the theory is that another earth parrell to ours exists and is slipping into ours for example The baresteen bears or barestien bears. Kitkat or kit-kat. What do you think ?
I had a conversation with the son of the female client that I provide care to. He owns a full size Tesla sedan and the darn thing always seems to be plugged in. I specifically asked what kind of mileage he gets per charge and was surprised to hear him say that it was approximately 220 miles. For real, 220 per charge? He said the mileage is also dependent upon the weather conditions and how much "stuff" is being used. He seemed to think that it would take a good 3 to 4 hours to then become fully charged one again. My goodness, 220 miles per charge is nothing to get excited about! Can you imagine driving this car from the Metropolitan Detroit area to SW Florida? Yikes! Drive 220 miles (3 hours) then pull off to charge 3 to 4 hours.....it would take 5 to 8 days from Michigan to Florida. Heck, I set out to do the drive and freaking forget what I was doing.
They do charge faster on fast charge stations, servos have them here now & also shopping centers, on domestic power it is very slow on charging, overnight usually does the job, so the idea is you use the car during the day then plug it in once your done for the day.
They are not practical for long distance travel, a family member uses their modern diesel vehicle for that, it gets really good milage on the highway.
Having said that as a local use vehicle they are very cheap on energy to run, more or less no servicing & for about a $10 full electric charge to get the same milage over here at least would cost $80 for fuel, so besides their expensive outlay they are very economical.
The biggest problem with them though is once the batteries are stuffed the vehicle more or less becomes worthless, a disposable item, how long will that take, who knows this tec is still new, fast charge does shorten the life of the batteries though, so domestic slow charge is better & like modern devices now it is recommended to charge only up to 80% to help preserve the battery life.
They are really nice to drive as well, the model 3 duel motored one (the duel motored versions go further on 1 charge) I have driven quite a few times now is great in traffic, the intelligent cruse control is very precise & once set all you have to do is steer it, even with that turned of all you need to do is use the gas peddle, it automatically breaks & boodles of power, the only thing I find annoying with it its only display is a panel set lower center of the dash that is fixed, so that where your speedo is, no heads up display which would be handy, but they are of very basic design & features inside.
Going on of what i said in another thread about a book written in 1896 that had similarities to titanic. the strangeness does not end there. April 13 1912 a day before it sank 4 people had a premition that it would sink. a newly wed wife had nightmares and tried to warn her new husband. A painter in america painted a picture of statue of liberty and ship sinking. A cocks pit man in the ships birds nest had a feeling of doom and gloom and finally the ships priest suddenly changes the hymn
It doesn’t surprise me that people would fear this new technology. The maiden voyage of an “unsinkable” ship would surely bring fear to the hearts of some.
If it had a second voyage, their fear would probably be abated.
Thinking about comedies or sitcoms there is been a successful or unsuccessful spin off ( cheers -fraser ) successful, ( friends - joey ) unsuccessful. But what other sitcoms could do a spin off of which hasn't had one yet ?
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, there was a movie made few years back, an American film, it was rubbish compared to the BBC original series
Luv Thy Neighbor, another hilarious British sitcom, but would be deemed racist these days, without being able to use terms like "nignog" or "white honkey" there would be no point really
Is hollywood out of ideas quite recently hollywood has been rehashing old films and even old horrors ( nightmare on elm street, blob, f13, firestarter, super mario bros )
holyweird is running out of ideas for sure.
how many Bat mans can you really make?
A reboot of I love lucy wouldn't go over very well today would it?
Or all in the family?
Or the Jeffersons!!! YES
What I would really like to see is a reboot of Sanford and Son.
Nothing to see here folks, just another trailer park wiped clean off the earth!
