This hurricane hitting florida, very confusing info from the weather people. I look at the radar pictures on my weather links and they show it to be a 3 when it hits land, some broadcast I hear say it is going to be a Cat 6 if that was on the scale, when it hits. What the hell? is the information that scrambled? cat 3, you could stay home and make sure your belongings are secure, cat 6 all is gone. Who gains if they claim it is a 6 and everyone leaves and then it is a 3?

It went to a cat5 when it was off of the Yucatán peninsula. Since then it’s been changing from a cat 3 to a cat 4. A three at 125 mph is very strong and able to destroy many structures, trees and power lines. The debris flying around is deadly. It also brings torrential rainfall that leads to class floods. I’ve been listening to the forecast and haven’t heard anything about a cat 6

True, but the newsman was saying it could have been had there been a six as the windspeed was way up there. BUT it seems it has hit as a 3 so not quite as bad as expected at least. still will be a mess and alot of loss either way. And crews are already over worked from the last 1.

This was one of the biggest hurricanes in recent history and definitely one of the biggest to hit North Carolina so if you wanna go around hunting for negative stories you can just have it. Your cup is half empty. The governors and mayors are on the news saying positive things about the reaction of FEMA.
Of course there are going to be problems in a hurricane of this size so don't be surprised. Spend a half an hour looking for positive stories on the North Carolina government website or websites of the cities and towns and see what you can find.
Of course Fox, Trump and the like are running negative stories because it's so close to the election and when people make this about an election there's going to be a lot of bullshit being spread around out there. Choose your sources carefully if you want factual information.
This is not about the election or politics, it's about the people. Try to remember that.
