I can tell you it’s not that easy maybe on some cheap cars like a Kia or a hundi the Korean made crap but it’s a lot quicker to break out the driver rear door glass and reach forward to open the driver door

Why is it every time a storm is coming, you would think it was the first 1 in history. Folks that live in florida should be aware by now of the precautions to take and so forth. why the OMG attitude every time? Why not " storm number 3 will make landfall as cat 3, use precautions accordingly".and resume normal programing?

Phart there are several reasons in play. First, the track of any storm is a wild guess until it's just a few miles away. Boarding up homes and businesses is expensive and time consuming. I've been through storms that hit in Broward county, just 50 miles away at most and little damage happened in Miami Dade county. Second, the frequency of storms hitting a particular area. This storm came in just east of Tallahassee. They been hit a few times in the last 10 yrs, but, never by a historic cat 4 storm. Third, the TV and Weather Channel meteorologists consider these starks as the SUPERBOWL of forecasting. They go all out to create a Tony award performance. The best they can do is prognosticate(guess) where the storm is going.
One thing do, you can't live with shutters on your windows and sand bags in front of your doors year-round. Bert you can do is to get storm shutters installed.
