Yes, bacteria can get into meat. That's why you need an independent organization to inspect the food, to do testing for bacteria and prevent infected food from being sold. You cannot trust companies to inspect themselves, because they have a profit incentive to sell you unsafe food.
Yes, I blame Trump for being stupid enough to think food manufacturers can be trusted to inspect themselves, but YOU are also that stupid. Stupidity kills people.
