What is staggering is that romance scams are big business that net the organized worldwide criminal groups anywhere from hundreds to millions of dollars per victim.
Hey, maybe you could sort this mess out for me. My head is still spinning from all the information that was presented in young_dude 's blog. What I can't grasp is if admin is the member formerly known as MONTED and the member that is currently known as tecsan is also the member formerly known as MONTED, why is tecsan (aka MONTED) consistently bitching about being prohibited by admin (aka MONTED) from posting on another member's profile? Why did MONTED make things so complicated for himself?
Again, hoping you will sort this out and report back with information that makes more sense.
And if you find it in your heart, would you please post in ANGEL1227's new thread, NEW STUFF, OLD STUFF, ANY STUFF III thread? I had privately messaged ANGEL and asked her to stop trying to stir things up between licksipsuckit, leopoldij and me. Apparently the only fix that she could come up with was to create a new thread and copy interesting posts that she found in the forum and paste these nuggets in her thread. I would wager to say that if you visited and posted, she would feel validated.

What I find impressive is it would appear that creditors are able to seek and find legal resolution within a reasonable amount of time through the High Court. From what I gather, the High Court reviews matters revolving around unsecured debt such as unpaid rent, credit card debt, goods & services, etc.
The High Court agents are duly appointed agents of the court that are sent to execute a High Court Writ of Control that will hopefully lead the agents to collect, in full, all money owed plus additional legal fees. If the person is unable to pay, the agents will cease anything owned that will be sold at auction to pay off or pay down the debt. One of the saddest episodes that I saw was when the agents were executing a writ involving debt from a funeral expense. Seriously? Shame on that funeral director/home.

The first question I find more tricky. I like to think of myself as a free speech absolutist but stuff about sexual practices that are illegal, morally dubious or both do trouble me. I find solace in my belief that a lot of it is fantasising and the shit a person says they did is, in all likelihood, BS. If I felt that every story about being in sexual scenarios with family members, being abused by adults when you were a child etc etc were 100% true I think I would be inclined to leave the site for good.
But I lived long enough to know that predators are attracted to vulnerability, not just to youth. It shows in what they say and it's quite different from those who just like firm looks of young adults (late teens and early twenties).
Example, a 17 year old girl has sex with her 19 year old boyfriend. Based on the laws in North America, she falls within the age of consent but I believe that she still is a minor. Regarding alcohol, a minor is someone under the age of 21. Bottom line, what is considered to be a "minor" is a gray area.
