You took a question that I used to get the general feel from the members that participate in the forum. As I believe you said yourself, the members that you chat with expect a different level of conversation from you when they are engaging in one-on-one conversation with you.

I guess that it was too much to expect that certain people be more respectful of other members. They think they are the only ones that can say or do what they want in the forums. JustWill has a superior intellect and maybe he does have wit, but, my experience with him is that he uses that intellect to belittle, embarrass, and insult people while at the same time he acts like it's his right to do so because "He's very smart"

What is/are your thought(s) on how a Forum should operate? My understanding of a Forum is to share ideas and/or information. I wouldn't expect everyone will be in agreement, but such is life.
Should there be any ground rules or is a Forum just a free for all?
Once a member pays for their thread, and remains an active member, I DO believe that user should be endowed with certain controls for said thread. What the controls might be... I don't know just yet, I would have to put more thought into it. That being said, MOST forums anywhere on the net have some sort of policing. As this site and membership is HUGE, I can totally understand that one man cannot patrol these things. Therefore, it might be a reasonable idea to have such a concept in place. Now, what's to keep that thread owner from just stifling free speech or kicking out someone they simply don't like, or just because they may not like an opposing view. Again, I don't have the answer for that. But if I start a thread about cars and some asshole keeps posting gnarly pictures of their big hairy turd cutter (I borrowed that one too), then I should be able to clean my thread. How to regulate such things is beyond me. Perhaps the best way is already in place.
He keeps being belligerent when there's no need to be. And with all due respect, he gets away with it here
If more controls are wanted by the creator, it should be stated at the biggining. Ex: Please do not post pictures. If you need to reference one, please use URLS only.

The thing is that if the forum creator wants to tell someone not to do something, I understand. What i don't understand is an outsider like JustWill posting something so insulting like this:

I truly do not understand why this is a difficult concept to grasp. I don't give a flying fladoodle what else SHE has to say about me talking about her, if she can kick people out of a group that she moderates because she does not like said person, I can do likewise in the Forum for a thread that I authored especially since the member was asked more than once not to post their pictures in this thread.
