If they have a clean slate and have a good chance to be naturalized, it should be OK for them to get working permits, and they should be able to rent a home, not buy one. Otherwise keep them in shelters, so they don't get lost. Then send them home, if they are not eligible for citizenship.

Even if he wants to fix things, cutting expenses, gutting regulations and giving tax-cuts to the wealthy, will make it utterly impossible to fix ANYTHING, it will only make everything WORSE.
Kamala doesn't say she'll "fix...", she says that she will sign specific bills into law.
Those bills have highly detailed PLANS in it. Yes, she can sign them on day one,
if she is elected, because they are fully PLANNED OUT.
Remember Trump's healthcare plan? He still doesn't have a PLAN.
His plan was just to destroy the affordable care act, but he has nothing
to replace it with. The plan is not to make healthcare more affordable,
the plan is to destroy the system that is in place now. You don't do that,
because people require healthcare. Without a plan to replace the PPACA,
your operation wouldn't be possible.
Republicans in the House hardly created any bills. The Republicans controlled the House, but wasted their time and didn't make any laws. They are/were the least effective House in American history. I would challenge them on bad plans, but there hardly are ANY. They just accepted their paycheck and did NOTHING, except spending lots of money on investigations, which didn't result in ANYTHING.

GREED causes high housing and rent prices. Big investors, like Blackrock, are buying up too many houses and renting them out for ridiculously high profits. That is the high rent and it creates a shortage on the housing market: high house prices.
Only REGULATING rent increases and the housing market against being dominated
by investors can reduce the prices. That's an option for a solution AKA PLAN.

PLANS are specific options for solutions to address the cause of a problem.

I also saw right-wing populism in my country winning bigly, with lots of promises
to do things differently. We are waiting for a long time and now they are presenting their plans. It's all a nothing-burger. It's just the same neo-liberalism we have had for decades now.
In one way I'm relieved that they are not destroying the government, but I'm also disappointed, because it they are doing and acting exactly the same as the last cabinet. They pushed forward an incredibly boring Prime Minister and they are planning incredibly boring tweaks around the edges with their politics. Our country does have some major problems that need addressing, but I've seen no plans to even try. It's all just "baked air".

You already have the highest incarceration percentage in the world and it doesn't fix anything. If being a dealer is the only way to get out of poverty, people will try it, no matter the risk.
Your drugs problem is destroying South American countries too. It's a multi-billion dollar business for criminals. There is no amount of policing they can do, to fight against such a well-funded criminal organization. It's for a big part American dollars funding that criminal organization. Meanwhile, your politics funds useless dictators, who will never solve that problem, because their only priority is enriching your billionaires and crushing their people more.

That cannot go without affecting people, but that was not Biden's fault. Now your macro economy is doing better than anywhere else in the world. It's true that this has not helped a lot of normal people yet, but their wages are rising now. The only thing that is still hurting them is the high prices for everything. Nothing Biden did has caused that, that's now only caused by price gauging and the global market still being affected by the war in Ukraine. Ukraine was a massive exporter of grain, corn, sunflower seeds and other base food ingredients. That raises the prices. Sanctions against Russian oil and natural gas increased the energy prices. Actually, Biden reduced the prices a lot for the US, by reducing and increasing your energy reserves in a very smart way. You cry about your energy prices, but ours in Europe are FIVE TIMES HIGHER.

Peace in the Middle East will not be seen in our lifetime. Since the inception of The State of Israel on May 14, 1948 and arguably for centuries before, the Middle East has not been at peace.
I remember when I was young, and Henry Kissinger thought he could do it, and some believed him. Many have tried after him and been equally unsuccessful.
The list of failed peace treaties is long and littered with hundreds of thousands of lives.
Turmoil in the Middle East is just something that I accept as fact and has no chance of changing within my lifetime or for generations to come.
I honestly don’t think that the major players want peace and that’s where it has to start.
