Look at the map with the golf course and the roads bordering it,not a police car, nothing to keep someone from waddling right over and waiting to shoot.
The golf game was not known until sunday morning, yet this guy camped 12 hours?? How did he KNOW Trump would be playing golf when not many folks knew?

Who is trying to get Trump killed here? And don't forget,
the video of Trump being shot by a missle sent out by Iran a few years ago

Who do you think prevented Trump from getting shot?

Crazy people are trying to get Trump killed here.
Trump is making people crazy. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

No one will give you the education you need to over throw them.
Think about that for a moment. Tax money is used by the government to provide "free" education. liberals claim it is the best thing for the children. what better way to make sure you have your citizens under your control than to be the 1 in charge of what they learn? And the 1 with the dollars ,is the logical decision maker of what gets taught.
By CAT52! [Ignore] 16,Sep,24 11:25 other posts
You are not making sense, Phart. In the 2022 Census of Governments, the United States Census Bureau enumerated the following numbers of school systems in the United States: 12,546 school district governments. 571 county-dependent school systems.
What control are you talking about? Heck, look at my state, Florida. Look at what DeSantis is doing with the Florida Educational system. Does that look like the Libs are controlling the curriculum? Look at Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia and a bunch more. And, like I've said at the beginning, the Federal government is not in the teaching game.

I’m so sorry. My heart goes out for the victims and their families.
Now, back to reality. It was expected, if not there, then somewhere. Let’s see the next time will be in about two weeks. Repeating in a normal pattern as long as this country continues with this adoration of the gun.

Fellow was on fbi radar for at least a year because of stuff they said online. Well gee, why not go talk to the asshole BEFORE he harms someone? a ounce of Prevention is worth a pound of cure.
but no, that would not further the antigun agenda to prevent these events from happening. School kids are being used to help achieve gun control. sacrificial lambs
The grocery store shooting in newyork, the school shooting in florida,The Trump shooting, all could have been prevented, but gee, what would people like cat pushing outlawing guns have to work with if they were prevented? Kill a few 1000 over a few years to get guns off the street is the logic of the democrat

If you can't see what is happening, not much way to help you.

Tell me why, when the shooter in new york who was chatting with a former fbi agent, was allowed to follow thru with his plan he spoke of online?
Tell me why the school shooters family in florida told law enforcement over and over the kid was a problem and they allowed him to follow thru with his violence as they hid behind their cars?

I could go on, but there is no other LOGICAL explanation for these and many other events being ALLOWED to happen unless there is a horrid agenda behind it. and who wants to defund the very thing that would respond to these events? Democrats.
please explain to all of us why these events are allowed to happen.

There are many rabbit holes we could go down about WHY these events happen. BUT I want you to explain WHY They are ALLOWED to happen once law enforcement that folks like you expect us to trust our very lives with, are informed of the issues.
By CAT52! [Ignore] 05,Sep,24 11:42 other posts
Being allowed to happen? What do you suggest be done? Lock up the kid on a hunch? Allowed to happen. Yikes!
By phart [Ignore] 05,Sep,24 12:21 other posts
So the law knowing there is a issue and doing nothing does not bother you?
Of course I forget you are 1 of those that think the criminal has more rights than the victim. in your mindset the majority does not have a right to safety as it may infringe on the rights of 1 or 2 individuals that might be questioned and preventive action taken .

By CAT52! [Ignore] 07,Sep,24 11:53 other posts
Well, Phart, hear this. As Bella pointed out in her other thread, there's this pesky document know as The Constitution of the United States. In it there are several freedoms that are guaranteed to all. One of these says (I'm paraphrasing), "● Freedom of speech: Free speech is necessary for the discovery of truth and the rejection of falsehood."
This allowed people to say or put down in writing whatever they fee they want to say without fear of being incarcerated.
The best law enforcement can do is monitor the individual and that is only slightly better than trying to stop the ocean tides.
Another freedom is the right to bear arms. No one remembers that the second part to that freedom is, "in order to maintain a well regulated militia".
You put these two "freedoms" together and that's how these tragedies come about.
Now, no one is naive enough to believe that these tragedies can be fully stopped. I don't think so either, but, regulation of firearms can certainly reduce the amount of casualties and/or number of such calamities. Even you have to admit that you can kil.l more children with a high capacity semiautomatic rifle than with a regular weapon.

BOTTOM LINE, unless we become an authoritarian country where freedoms don't exist, or we need to regulate the TOOLS of all this kill, ling.
By phart [Ignore] 07,Sep,24 13:25 other posts
so you don't feel like the police couldn't send a fellow out to sit down and talk with the possible shooter and offer support, say mental or health wise to curb this persons desires to do harm? Intervention I think is what they call it. Prevention is what I call it.

In another way, if you feel your car shaking violently and you stop and see a huge knot coming up on the side of a tire, Do you drive past 4 tire stores and go to the grocery store and walmarts and then home? Later wonder why it blew out and woke you up at 2 am? no, you would probably stop at a tire store you trusted to take care of it and they offer to change the tire with a new or used 1 depending on your budget, sending you safely on your way. Preventing a wreck and allowing you to sleep that night.
See my point?
By CAT52! [Ignore] 08,Sep,24 09:20 other posts
Oh, I agree with you. Sending someone to TALK to the guy is a good idea, but, first, it should be from a qualified team that trains for this. Second, it should be well documented so, later, when the shooter goes ahead with it anyway, people like you won't be able to say, "Nothing was done.".
By phart [Ignore] 08,Sep,24 12:02 other posts
2 heavy set officers of the law with guns on their sides sitting down at the kitchen table 'splainin' that threats to harm people won't be tolerated doesn't require anything the police don't already know how to do ,scare and intimidate. cheaper than hiring more people to.
By CAT52! [Ignore] 08,Sep,24 12:14 other posts
So bullying and intimidating is your choice. Isn't that a great way to use the underfunded police?
By phart [Ignore] 08,Sep,24 19:35 other posts
it is the cheapest choice that could be implemented right NOW and as time passes and the problem is brought down out of the stratosphere ,better, more humane ideas could be implemented.

We need action NOW to prevent issues, action that does not take away our rights.but protects us.
By CAT52! [Ignore] 09,Sep,24 08:23 other posts
The cheapest is gun restrictions.
By phart [Ignore] 09,Sep,24 10:07 other posts
no that is the most expensive in human lives. alot folks will not give up their guns and will kill and or die to keep them .enforce current gun laws and things would improve
By CAT52! [Ignore] 09,Sep,24 10:55 other posts
Want to bet? 99% would be too chicken and sending two fat pigs to intimidate will only cause more trouble. That 1 % that resists would commit sulcide-by-cop. Good riddance.
By phart [Ignore] 09,Sep,24 21:15 other posts
you base that on the idiots that the news makes public.
ALOT of law enforcement own guns outside their jobs.and will not give them up,and alot of very quite people out there, that work, pay their bills, taxes and so on,are not going to be disarmed by a government they can't trust with their safety

Think about it cat, the US and others talked ukraine into giving up it's nukes. Look at it now,a waste land.
YOu think the average joe out here is going to let the same government talk them into giving up their guns knowing full well why the constitution was written so we could have them in the first place?
You grossly underestimate your neighbors.
By CAT52! [Ignore] 10,Sep,24 12:22 other posts
No. I base it on a lifetime of interacting with most people and also judging by the reaction of most of the public to new laws and policies. The average person WILL NOT take up arms to protest an unwanted government action.
A case in point is the Jan 6, 2021 "uprising". If you were right and even if 50% of the electorate was willing to admit to that, then, why didn't millions march on the Capital to support the insurgents?
I'll tell you why. Because most (99%) people will not get involved if there's a chance it will cost them money or be subject to possible hurt or death.
And BTW, do you know why the Constitution gave us amendment 2? It's not what you gun nuts claim it is.

You have shown signals of it several times, fantasizing about an armed rebellion, when Democrats win the election. You have also told stories about you protecting your hill against whoever comes for you, which is a fantasy, because no one comes for you. You are content with your life now, but if
you lose everything, I see your fantasies of gun violence becoming a risk.
You're already angry about everything, that combined with sorrow and desperation is a toxic mix. It happens every day in your country.
It's not just the availability of guns, it's also your media.

Your media keeping their viewers fixed to the screen with constant fearmongering, creating outrage and anger. It fills people with bottled up anger, directed at a few scapegoats. Both sides do it, but the right-wing does it the most. They take everything that happens to and create a story with the intent to strengthen your bias towards their narrative and against the enemy, because it binds their viewers. They cannot go a minute without attacking the Democrats, liberals, unemployed 'moochers', working people in general, teachers, immigrants, black people, transgenders or wokeness in general.
You cannot watch that without it affecting your brain and stress. As long as
you personally are fine, you can suppress it, but it comes out when you are desperate. Then you will just be another statistic. Some of your acquaintances will say that you were a nice hard working guy, others will say they were afraid of you going mental, because of your big gun collection and extremist ideology.
Did you ever listen to people describing a mass shooter?
Many of them were just like you, but just snapped one day.
That snapping doesn't happen without build-up tension.
No entity builds up tension as much as right-wing media.
They are stirring in a pot of hate, adding ingredients, 24/7.
And just like phart and tecsan, you eat out of that pot as much as you can.

There is a reason for why mass murders happen so much more in your country. It's not the things that are exactly the same in other countries.
We have crazy people too. We don't have your guns and we don't have
your media. If it's not those things, then what is it?

Ok, Dgraff, I’ll ask. What could a United States marine gunnery Sargent that served in the Vietnam war on a half track behind a 50 caliber machine gun teach you, a gangly teen, on how to be a good member of society? Did he teach you how to k.ll or smoke weed? Did he teach you to take no 💩from anyone even though that anyone was just being normal but against your views? Did he teach you to be proud of your colors while sipping a cold one out of a can?
Please tell us.

He taught me hand to hand combat skills
He taught me how to make weapons out of things from the earth
He taught me how to make a quarter staff and how to use it
He taught me survival skills
He taught me how to make a claymore mine using gunpowder and nails
He taught me how to disassemble a rifle in under a minute
And he encouraged me to compete in match shooting and become the champion i once was
Any thing else you want to know
Happy to hear you are completely stress free I’m cool as a cumber.
I want to keep you that way, even though I might make your blood boil sometimes. Then you can release your anger on me.

Actually, professional weapons training might reduce mass murder.
It's gun fetishization that does the harm. Soldiers don't do that.
It's the crazies on Christmas cards of the whole family posing with rifles.
Of course, when someone does snap, gun training increases the kill ratio.
By phart [Ignore] 09,Sep,24 21:28 other posts
You know, you have a valid point about our media and the hype they create.
What is interesting to me is that you have no proposals of fixing that problem of mass media creating hatred and division. something as simple as some regulations that require naming of sources of information for example
BUT instead of embracing that type of thinking, you would defend the media saying it was "free press" "freedom of speech"
The guns are the problem you would say, take away the guns.
when all the time the real cause of the problem is bullying and mass media concocted stories. Jan 6 would not have happened if our media was honest and name sources of info used to push either side of the agenda
By CAT52! [Ignore] 10,Sep,24 12:26 other posts

I keep forgetting that the great unwashed of this country would not take a dump unless some media from the left or the right didn't tell them that toilet paper action was needed. When did we stop being a nation that does things by using their brains?
They have freedom of the press, which I fully support.
Only when they do clear defamation, doxing, incitement to violence
and threats, can the law act against them. That's why Fox'News' settled the $787 Million defamation lawsuit over false election claims with Dominion.

I would say "take away your guns", but I support Democracy too.
If the military industrial complex and the NRA didn't bribe your politicians, they would implement the common sense gun reform that a large majority
of Americans support. Instead they make a law that police cannot take the guns away from a wife-beater.

Just after your supreme court overturned Roe v Wade, they overturned gun law.
only registered users can see external links
Their argument is that unless the founders said anything against any specific gun technology, the law cannot restrict it. So the founders should have predicted bump-stocks and machine guns able to kill a crowd in seconds. Would this allow you to have nuclear missiles? In literal sense, yes!

You are damn right that Jan 6th would not have happened if your media
was honest, because they damn-well knew Trump was lying his ass off,
but they supported his lies, because of their political bias and MONEY!!
By phart [Ignore] 10,Sep,24 15:03 other posts
No the liberal media lied and prompted the whole mess.

Read about what bump stocks are actually for.
They are made for folks like myself that have partial disability to be able to support the weight and recoil of a gun due to being able to use 1 hand and arm to hold it.
I would agree to having to show proof of handicap to purchase 1 or 2 over the course of time but to just ban them outright, no that is not the solution to the problem.
