Just remember every one
Independence Day is the celebration of our farmers fighting the British with guns pitch forks and any thing they could get their hands on all the things the democrats oppose
So why does New York hold a celebration

The thing is that at one time, during the 1800's, paintings of nudes with huge cabooses were very popular and the women were very thought after. This, though, is not desireble.

Haha!

Can you imagine having such a disproportionate figure or physique? It would be so difficult to buy clothes unless you had a seamstress or tailor on the payroll!

The video I posted reminds me of Sir Mix-a-Lot’s, BABY GOT BACK

Oh, my, god. Becky, look at her butt.
It is so big. [scoff]
She looks like one of those rap guys' girlfriends.
But, you know, who understands those rap guys? [scoff]
They only talk to her, because, she looks like a total prostitute, 'kay?
I mean, her butt, is just so big.
I can't believe it's just so round, it's like, out there, I mean— gross. Look!
She's just so... black!

[Sir Mix-a-Lot:]
I like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung, wanna pull up tough
'Cause you notice that butt was stuffed
Deep in the jeans she's wearing
I'm hooked and I can't stop staring
Oh baby, I wanna get with you
And take your picture
My homeboys tried to warn me
But that butt you got makes me so horny
Ooh, Rump-o'-smooth-skin
You say you wanna get in my Benz?
Well, use me, use me
'Cause you ain't that average groupie
I've seen them dancin'
To hell with romancin'
She's sweat, wet,
Got it goin' like a turbo 'Vette
I'm tired of magazines
Sayin' flat butts are the thing
Take the average black man and ask him that
She gotta pack much back
So, fellas! (Yeah!) Fellas! (Yeah!)
Has your girlfriend got the butt? (Hell yeah!)
Tell 'em to shake it! (Shake it!) Shake it! (Shake it!)
Shake that healthy butt!
Baby got back!

(LA face with Oakland booty)
Baby got back!
(LA face with Oakland booty)
(LA face with Oakland booty)

[Sir Mix-a-Lot:]
I like 'em round, and big
And when I'm throwin' a gig
I just can't help myself, I'm actin' like an animal
Now here's my scandal
I wanna get you home
And ugh, double-up, ugh, ugh
I ain't talkin' bout Playboy
'Cause silicone parts are made for toys
I want 'em real thick and juicy
So find that juicy double
Mix-a-Lot's in trouble
Beggin' for a piece of that bubble
So I'm lookin' at rock videos
Knock-kneed bimbos walkin' like hoes
You can have them bimbos
I'll keep my women like Flo Jo
A word to the thick soul sisters, I wanna get with ya
I won't cuss or hit ya
But I gotta be straight when I say I wanna [moan]
Till the break of dawn
Baby got it goin' on
A lot of simps won't like this song
'Cause them punks like to hit it and quit it
And I'd rather stay and play
'Cause I'm long, and I'm strong
And I'm down to get the friction on
So, ladies! (Yeah!) Ladies! (Yeah)
If you wanna roll in my Mercedes (Yeah!)
Then turn around! Stick it out!
Even white boys got to shout
Baby got back!

Baby got back!
Yeah, baby... when it comes to females, Cosmo ain't got nothin' to do with my selection.
36-24-36? Ha ha, only if she's 5'3".

[Sir Mix-a-Lot:]
So your girlfriend rolls a Honda, playin' workout tapes by Fonda
But Fonda ain't got a motor in the back of her Honda
My anaconda don't want none
Unless you've got buns, hun
You can do side bends or sit-ups,
But please don't lose that butt
Some brothers wanna play that "hard" role
And tell you that the butt ain't gold
So they toss it and leave it
And I pull up quick to retrieve it
So Cosmo says you're fat
Well I ain't down with that!
'Cause your waist is small and your curves are kickin'
And I'm thinkin' bout stickin'
To the beanpole dames in the magazines:
You ain't it, Miss Thing!
Give me a sister, I can't resist her
Red beans and rice didn't miss her
Some knucklehead tried to diss
'Cause his girls are on my list
He had game but he chose to hit 'em
And I pull up quick to get wit 'em
So ladies, if the butt is round,
And you want a triple X throw down,
Dial 1-900-MIXALOT
And kick them nasty thoughts
Baby got back!
Baby got back!

(Little in the middle but she got much back) [4x]

This is so sad on so many levels. A brush fire intentionally set, a gunman ambushing first responders and two deaths. What is wrong with our country?
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 02,Jul,25 12:09 other posts
When this would have been an immigrant, Trump would be calling for billions for extra border security, give ICE even more leeway to break the 14th amendment and build even more sadistic prisons. BUT, he was WHITE, so NOTHING will be done to try to prevent it. No calls to get the guns away from even the worst criminal or the most violent lunatics.
Not a dollar extra for mental healthcare. "Free speech" for hateful violent rhetoric.

Every time this happens, you will ask "What is wrong with our country?", you will blame the left for politicizing it, and you will move on, until the next right-wing gun nut kills a bunch of people. You will only get "Thoughts and prayers".

Of course, you will politicize the hell out of it, when an immigrant hurts someone.
Then "One life is too many!". It could be a fully naturalized immigrant, it will be full justification to spend hundreds of billions of dollars and piss on The Constitution.
But you can never even think about reining in the Second Amendment a bit.
It will be the last thing you'll have left of The Constitution.

My guess is you are using “you” as a general term directed at Americans, correct? Our country is eff’d up but let me take it a step further, the world is eff’d up! A good deal of the problem can be attributed to drugs.

Be happy that YOU are content YOUR socialist life in the Netherlands.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 02,Jul,25 15:11 other posts
Yes, you as Americans. You (you) cannot do anything personally.
Still, you personally could accept the truth of it and support change.
There are drugs everywhere, but this problem is only American.

This is not related to capitalism, socialism or conservatism.
That only looks that way, because you have just 2 political parties.
Your Republicans made a choice to support the gun lobby and Democrats did not,
but there is no reason for that. There is also no reason to pick the Republican side
on this issue, just because you prefer them on other issues. Do you have freedom
of thought, or not? Why would you let your ideas be defined by a political party?

[There was a study in which they asked Republican voters how many of a list of 30 Republican policies they support and they asked Democratic voters how many of a list of 30 Democratic policies they support. Both groups of voters support the list of the party they identify with, by an immense majority. This support is so strict, that it is statistically impossible for a free thinking society. This means you're all Hyper-Partisan.]

You are not representing the Republican party, they should represent you.
If their voters change their opinion on this issue, they need to change theirs.
If you are tired of the constant mass murders, you can demand action.
Don't be satisfied with your politicians doing mostly what they want,
instead of what YOU need.

Simplicity!

I believe that the cabin filter is accessed through the glove compartment on both my Buick and Cadillac.
By Cody8789 [Ignore] 30,Jun,25 18:11 other posts
Cabin filters are usually behind the glove box on the top where the blower motor is. Four bolts and the blower motor drops out from the upper kick panel on the passenger side. Not all cars have cabin filters, if you notice that the ac doesn’t blow as hard as it used to, it’s because there’s either a clogged filter or the blower motor basket is filled with leaves on the cars that do not have the filter. It’s easy access and easy to get to, you just have to be a little flexible on your back to do the job, most can do it in 15 minutes.

Good information to pass along! Hmmmm….

I have to say that something that I’m good about keeping up with is the oil changes and I choose to take my cars to the dealership for that. In turn, the dealership is good with regard to keeping up on recalls and/or reminding you of “whatever”. Surprisingly, I do recall that during my 24/25 winter season in Florida, I took my Buick to a Buick dealership in Ft Myers for an oil change and mentioned that the air didn’t seem to be working properly. It wasn’t the cabin filter it was something else covered under warranty and the dealership had my car for 5 days.

Back to the cabin air filter, best I can recall, that cabin filter is expensive, around $140 on my Buick! Ouch!
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 01,Jul,25 03:13 other posts
It's probably not the price of the filter, but the labor to exchange it. If your Buick is designed like this one, you can probably save money by buying a cabin filter for it online and exchanging it yourself.
only registered users can see external links

I have no idea what my dealer charges me to exchange the cabin filter. I just bring in my car in the morning, drive back the rental car, work until they call me in the afternoon, and go pick up the car again. It's expensive, between $400 and $700 every year, but I'm not interested anymore in doing car work myself. I only fill up the windshield washer fluid, exchange the battery in they keys and investigate/reset errors in the OBD II car diagnostics system. I have a $10 bluetooth dongle that saves me trips to the dealer.
By bella! [Ignore] 01,Jul,25 20:02 other posts
Uh, I Google’d “Bluetooth dongle” and it showed several pictures however I’m unclear what the device does. Please enlighten me.
By Cody8789 [Ignore] 02,Jul,25 01:45 other posts
It’s a wireless capability to read your codes and it tells you what’s going on with how your car is running without having to plug in the handheld to your computer every time you need to diagnose your car readings
By bella! [Ignore] 02,Jul,25 02:35 other posts
Thank you! My guess is you pair it to your car like you pair a cell phone?
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 02,Jul,25 05:40 other posts
Yes, an OBD-II bluetooth dongle, connecting to your phone, with a diagnosis program running on it. I use the Android app 'inCarDoc'. It provides live data
and data about the errors that show up as a light on the dashboard.

When I'm not using my car enough, the battery goes low. When I then start the engine, sometimes it doesn't have enough power for ignition. That can cause a small explosion, which has an effect on the EGR-valve, which produces an error. Unless I want to drive around with a red engine light all the time, I have to get it reset or reset it myself.

When the battery power is low, sometimes I also get warning lights for the Lane Assist and the Stability Control, during startup. Those are all computer systems,
that don't work correctly, during that one second that they are all checked.
The system then puts itself on safety mode, which means no acceleration.
Restarting the engine solves it, but it leaves a Christmas tree of warning lights.

It's all nothing to worry about, but it's an annoying result of my limited car usage. Buying a new battery every year would probably solve it, or change my car to a plug-in, but a $10 dongle is cheaper.
Or, if you don't own a 'handheld' and need to visit your dealer to get a diagnosis
of your car readings.

I have three handhelds, that’s all I need to diagnose any problems, we don’t call it safety mode here, it’s called open loop mode.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 02,Jul,25 11:29 other posts
The real ones aren't cheap. Are you using them professionally?

It's just me who called it "safety mode", because I had no idea what it's called. When I Google "open loop mode", it provides options that sound very close to what is happening, so it looks like you're correct. Next time it happens, I'll connect the dongle and look for "open loop mode". It has been months, so I need to be patient.
Yes, most can do it in 15 minutes, unless your car is designed like a Lincoln, in which case it's not just 4 screws, but an hour's work for a skilled mechanic, for which they charge you $200,-. If your car is a Toyota, there are no screws at all. In my car, there are no screws either, but a plastic cover that clicks into place, although it's a bit tricky.
Did you watch the video?
By CAT52! [Ignore] 01,Jul,25 11:32 other posts
In my Chevy Equinox it's behind the glove compartment. Don't need to crawl under dash. Two screws hold door to filter. Total time (including cooling off cabin first-90* weather) is about 20 min.
By Cody8789 [Ignore] 01,Jul,25 18:21 other posts
My trans-am, 2002, doesn’t have a cabin filter, but I did have to change the fan motor and a few times empty out all the leaves that built up clogging the fan. I have to park under the trees when I’m out because it gets so hot here that the plastic cracks in my car, switches break and my dash has been replaced three times because having a black car in this heat, temperatures get to around 120 in the car and the heat cracks all the plastic. My car is known for the heat cracking the door panels, dash, and several other parts.

haven't heard or read yet as to where he got it, Bella posted below the gun was stored correctly. So apparently since that is the case, the kid must have found the key or remembered the combination of the lock on the safe or something.

MY APOLOGIES, my post omitted one very important word and that word is "NOT". The sentence should have read; The problem is that the parent(s) did NOT secure the gun properly.

Yea I was bullied alot in school by fellow students, shunned as slow and stupid by the teachers.
SO yea,I know the frustration all to well of how it feels to grow up as "that kid" at the back of the room.
School bullying has been a issue for decades and if these folks that claim to want to make positive changes really meant it,they would do something about it.
Cyber school, It worked for the plandemic, why not keep on?
MUCH cheaper in the long run as the homeless issue could be partly solved by housing people in the old school buildings, busing would no logner be needed. School lunches, would be the PARENTS problem, not the taxpayers and etc. A win win for everyone.
Less school shootings and at the very least, less kids in 1 place to get harmed.
But no, just delete the gun and the whole world will be perfect and kumbaya will be the world anthem.

All jokes aside, sadly you made a good observation.
By bella! [Ignore] 07,Jan,23 12:43 other posts
You have got to stop that.

• Children needn't be bullied by children, teachers or parents.
• Teachers needn't be bullied by the children they're attempting to teach.
• Parents need to be more involved in parenting their children because it's NOT THE JOB OF THE TEACHER to babysit your li'l hooligans 8 hours a day while you're getting high.
By phart [Ignore] 07,Jan,23 12:55 other posts
I can agree.Parents always chunk the kid in the school or day care and go on with their day as if they don't have kids.
Then something like this happens and everyone is like,"HOw could this happen"?
Well, gee, just as being discussed in another thread I mentioned i would like to see the country go back to the ways of the 50's and this is 1 of the reasons why. School shootings were rare.Parents, namely the mother, were involved in the teaching, raising and caring for the children.
By #610414 07,Jan,23 18:55
The United States had no mass school shootings that fit our criteria until 1940, when a junior high school principal killed the superintendent, the high school principal, the district business manager, and two teachers, before attempting suicide, because he thought he was going to be fired at the end of the school year.

Guns were less common and people didn't use agun to settle an argument.
By dgraff [Ignore] 09,Jan,23 10:55 other posts
Really what about the Wild West a gun was used to settle just about everything and gun were way more popular back then compared to now and everyone carried a gun back then including the two bit whores the store owner the black smith and so on
By Andthisisme [Ignore] 07,Jan,23 14:46 other posts
Are you seriously justifying someone being shot for belittling someone. If this is a common view in the US, that explains a lot.
By phart [Ignore] 07,Jan,23 14:57 other posts
It is not the belittling or the "fill in the blank" that gets most people to a point of wanting to do harm.It is the lack of other actions being taken or the lack of any actions taken doing any good for the problem.
You get to a point in your life sometimes where you are fed up and can NOT take it anymore. In the case of a 6 year old wanting KILL or harm with a gun, I would say exposure to video games and the killing on them may have been a negative influence.
People for decades have tried to explain that violent music, violent tv shows and games, have a negative effect on the people. Prompting violent behaviors and habits. But the liberals call it freedom of expression and whine to their lawyers, as our kids continue to play games and watch violent movies and listen to music that encourages violence without accountability.
By Andthisisme [Ignore] 08,Jan,23 04:23 other posts
The child must be/ have been seriously disturbed in some way to even think of picking up a gun and shooting his teacher and I do have to wonder to what extent so many .shoot ‘em up’ video games can affect a child/person. At 6 he should not be allowed access to such games by retailers or online sites or his parents. But we know that really doesn’t work.
The causes of the immense gun violence in aThe US has been debated and argued over for years and there will never be a agreement on how to deal with it.
You have your views on gun control, which I respect but totally disagree with, and. Ihave mine, which you totally disagree with. So the shootings and often killings just keep going on.
By bella! [Ignore] 08,Jan,23 05:44 other posts
I can agree with you on the point that children should not have access to violent video games HOWEVER these games must be "alluring" when the child watches their parent(s) relax by playing violent and/or aggressive video games after a long day/work week.

My guess is that a 6 year old child is not able to process what he did. He is not able to process what happens when you shoot someone or something with a real gun, that they are not able to get up, dust themselves off because they have a spare life or two. Regardless of how anyone feels about guns and gun violence in the United States, it circles back to current culture. Is it only that the mindset of Americans is fucked up and that we have access to guns? I kinda think that our society/the world is fucked up and folks living elsewhere need to be "creative" with the way they "accomplish" their dastardly deed.
By #610414 08,Jan,23 08:51
I agree with you, Bella. We show little control on what our kids are exposed to.

No not at all I’m trying to say our school system has been broken for 40 years we need to screen our teachers way better the schools either need to step it up a couple notches or go bankrupt from lack of funding

Yes, in the US a gun is used every minute to settle even the most minor disputes. This country has more Road Ra gf e than the rest of the world put together. You have to remember, our " Constitution" says we can.

Well buildings and cars were burned over someone getting a knee put on their neck,no one thought much of it.
By #610414 07,Jan,23 18:45
Yeah, Dgraff, all teachers are crap and make their student's life miserable.

Absolutely I agree we had a gay teacher that used to try and lure blonde hair blue eyed boys to his closet with candy bars do you think that was appropriate behavior for a teacher
By #610414 07,Jan,23 19:38
No. Do you think every teacher is like that or every school has one? Get some perspective,

It happens more than we know all I’m saying is screen the teachers better look into their past find out what they’re sexual preferences are if they’re gay switch them to a girls gym teacher or something like that it’s the parents fault because they don’t get involved in school affairs enough just look at the crap they are teaching the poor kids I’m not asking for much just a little policy reform

A deeper screening of potential teachers and finding out their sexual preferences? And where does that stop? Should Microsoft, Ford Motor Company, electricians, steel workers, etc, be required to "disclose" their sexuality? Sorry, dgraff, that's a CRAZY idea.

They ask that question when you go to jail so they know we’re they are placing you it’s a simple yes or no question

I mean if you are sending your teen age boy to school would you feel comfortable knowing he has a gay teacher I wouldn’t
By #610414 09,Jan,23 10:11
That, Dgraff, is ridiculous. Sexual preference shouldn’t be part of any vetting of a teacher, or anyone else. You are bisexual. You think you should be allowed to drive a wrecker? You have to transport MEN and women. Are they safe? The “crap” they teach is approved and insisted upon by the local school board. Perhaps I don’t understand what you mean. Could you be more specific? I always thought math, science, English, civics, phys.Ed., were harmless enough.

What about critical race theory and the fact that they no longer say the pledge of allegiance anymore and they teach the children negative numbers my niece showed me and I told her to wait till she is older and try adding negative numbers in her check book and see what happens

I own my wrecker and the shop and all the tools so I don’t see any one trying to stop me the costumer can either ride with me and trust i will behave or walk it’s that simple

Here is the article.

The problem is that the parent(s) did secure the gun properly.

My bad, an incomplete thought, a better composed thought and sentence would have been as follows;

The problem is not about US gun problem, the problem is that the parent(s) did NOT secure the gun properly.

All my guns are under lock and key except for the 45 I’m carrying
By #610414 07,Jan,23 18:59
Yeah, because you never know when a six year old will try to kill you.
By #610414 07,Jan,23 18:38
I say the US has a gun problem. Now read how all these John Wayne wannabes give you excuses why it's ok for a six year old is in position of a gun, why he had a reason to shoot the teacher, and why the teacher is at fault.

By phart [Ignore] 09,Jan,23 14:39 other posts
Well to a point we have a gun problem.
If we could get the guns away from the crooks the rest of us could keep ours locked up until we wanted to target shoot or something.
IF criminals were deterred or dealt with, we wouldn't feel the need to have a gun on our side so to speak.
