I was quite friendly with a nice fella living in London who was on this site. He was really into a former member by the name of Obscura, an artistic, erotic and extremely beautiful young woman, anyway, since I cannot recall his screen name I'm going to call him Harry (I like the former Royal. Too bad he hooked up Meghan Markle). Well Harry had a female friend working in the industry and encouraged her to join. She did and unfortunately was booted twice. I don't recall all the particulars but she never came back.

About 10 years ago copper theft was escalating. The train utilities company had to do repairs up to a hundred times a year, because thieves stole the catenary cables or the lightning rods of thirty meter high, high voltage pylons. It gets them about 250 meters of cable that was worth then about € 750. And to get it, they risked being fried by 1,500, 3,000 or even 380,000 volt. I find only a few news articles of copper thieves getting electrocuted though. Increased security has worked to get the theft down.
In 2021, about 3,400 catalytic converters were stolen in my country.

One downside is overpopulation, another is the EU Free movement treaty.
Every country has crime, poverty, drugs, prostitution and immigration problems.
It's all still less than in the US. Look up the statistics and see.
I'm getting more politically active to help solve those problems. The Netherlands once had one of the best social support structures in the world. Right-wing politics has reduced it a lot in the past decades, but it still supports most people when they need to fall back on it, for a short while. People who need it long-term, because of disability or chronic illnesses are just taken care of way less than in the past.
The only people who benefited from cutting back the social safety net are the wealthy and corporations. People like me have been paying the same taxes, our income has been steady, but housing, food, energy and healthcare have just become more expensive over the years, because it is turned from necessities of life, that were closely guarded by the government, into revenue for the wealthy and corporations, by the government stepping back and privatization. We were on the way to become closer to the US. However, Dutch people started noticing they are getting fucked, because they were less used to it, unlike you. And because we are a smaller country, we can't just turn our backs when whole areas descent into chaos.
Crime like copper theft is not very visible. It's a nuisance to organizations and insurers, but citizens are way less affected. A lot of that crime is caused by the EU Free movement treaty, allowing thieves from Eastern Europe, coming over for a day, do their crimes and drive back with their van filled up with stolen goods.
The crime associated with drugs has always been below the surface and ignored, because we value personal freedom to use weed, XTC and a line of coke. No one likes the crime associated with it, but it's caused by the government not providing alternatives. In 2015, 70% of the population thought cannabis should be legalized.
It is allowed, but it has never been fully legalized, resulting in illegal activity. We also don't want drug users to be imprisoned, but no one want's the crime resulting from it. It's the governments fault for not solving that discrepancy. However, especially the last 12 years Rutte has been in office, literally every problem has escalated and his administration created many new ones. I don't know who the idiots are that still vote for him, but I only hear people who hate him, from left to the far right (and I mean QAnon level far right. We call them 'wappies' here.). Lately, Rutte has been forced to act like he cares about people. He had to step down and the last cabinet fell, but just before the election, where he was voted in again and took 299 days to form his cabinet, angering people even more. He promised many things to do better, but nothing of it has been achieved yet. He's the biggest procrastinator ever.

Interesting. You recognize the crime that has resulted from the use of "illeg@l" drugs yet your compassion doesn't want these people to be imprisoned. You are not happy with your current leadership because he procrastinates. You are an intelligent man, how would YOU solve this problem if you were given the task or were a trusted advisor?

I don't know where they sell them to make enough money to make them worth stealing as the laws are so strict now.
Copper gutters. wow, I saw a stack of them at the scrap yard 1 day and they looked ok,but were tarnished,has some green on them. Home owner changed them out for shiny 1's. Must be nice.
Love-it's bio states that it belongs to a couple. They seem to have won a number of photo contests. Their gallery boasts 533 pictures, mainly of the female. Whereas BlondeAngel's profile states she is a female and has 98 pictures and basically page #1 is mainly all penises. Go figure!

Apparently, the member that made the initial post is into feet and has asserted that there are three different feet or 3 different pairs of feet in the SYC member's gallery.

A hundred years ago, there was a restaurant in the Metropolitan Detroit area that allegedly served rattlesnake. I went there for dinner thinking I would try it. When we got there, I had a "reality check" decided there was no way that I'm going to eat rattlesnake therefore I stayed within my comfort zone and ordered fish. When my dinner was served, it was an entire fish with its face. No, buddy! I could not eat it, I surely did not want my meal looking at me! Perhaps I should be thankful that I didn't order rattlesnake, I would have passed out had I received a plate of snake, all coiled up on my plate with its face, too!

If you walk in the woods, you have to look up as much as down as you could walk into 10' round red spider webs, the spiders are the size of a large man's hand or larger.
