It's time for us Americans to wake the fuck up, yep, and I mean that, too! No country, nowhere else in the world does racism exist. No country, nowhere else in the world would people choose to live in a democracy when socialism can prevail. Yeah, I have no idea why my ancestors left Europe to live here in the United States of America or why my parents didn't wake up and move us back to where we came from.

Wake up people, before it's too late!

The world laughs at us, our country, but is it because of who was we have an old man that has flatulence, or that his appointed staff won't allow him to answer questions that are already scripted? No, well maybe that's part of the reason. It's because we work too hard when we should really be living off our government. We also are should be ashamed of ourselves, our whiteness. In other countries there is no racism, heck, desperate to white men pay good money to stick their fingers and their penis in the cunt of a woman of color.

Yep, it's us Americans that got it all wrong.

Shame on me! I knew Thanksgiving was today but I still need to duck into Kroger for couple odds and ends. When I worked my part-time retail job I HATED people like me. Where I'm going with this is I had to travel past the local McDonald's and there's not a light on or an emloyee car in the parking lot yet there probably had to be 5 or 6 cars in the drive-thru wanting to order a holiday favorite, McRib or Big Mac.
By phart [Ignore] 25,Nov,21 12:11 other posts
I had no idea mcd'z would be open,I cooked my own this morning along when I started my "Thanksgiving-Christmas dinner."

By phart [Ignore] 25,Nov,21 18:12 other posts
I have gotten the mcrib a few times years ago but when they started jurking it from the menu everytime i got kinda used to being able to get 1 I just stopped buying them all together. I think they need to carry them or don't.
BUT what I discovered was the Banquet Frozen dinners at walmart,if you get the "barbecue ribs", EXACT same peice of meat!
By bella! [Ignore] 25,Nov,21 18:31 other posts
The McRib is only offered for a limited period of time. Do you remember Scorps? That was his favorite and he would make his annual pilgrimage to McDonald's for the McRib. I had one last week, too much sauce, too much bread.

Scorps still to this day talks to me about the famous McRib sandwiches

Personally I’m not very fond of the McRib it’s processed meat ground up pig lips ears and butt holes all pressed into a patty

There are already county lines .city limits, rivers and state lines that could easily be used instead of all this redistricting crap. All money and time wasted.

That was a tongue-in-cheek post. I'm grateful that members like kebmo and Ananas2xLekker are giving thought to how our country could solve our problems.
By kebmo [Ignore] 25,Nov,21 14:09 other posts
Actually it was not tongue in cheek. I was watching PBS news last night and wondered if Canada had a similar procedure. I googled it and also found out that the word gerrymandering was created after the Massachusetts governor, named Gerry, did it in 1812 and it looked like a salamander.
The wish for a happy Thanksgiving was an afterthought, unrelated and sincere.

Do you feel that their punishment shouldn't be "too stiff"? Regardless of Mr. Arbery's checkered past, three men chased him down as killed him. Certainly you can't feel that they should get a "hall pass" on this.

Difficult question. Why did it happen? Circumstances are a big factor.
The jury and guest in the court house heard alot in this case that we haven't. So All we can do go forward.
I will admit,I think it is tragic that race keeps getting brought up in this case.
Drop race from it, a man was killed,if everyone is to be equal and blah blah blah to qoute ol greta thurburg, then the media should stop mentioning race.

It was a frigid day and food was scarce. There was no Whole Foods, Tavern on the Green, or in the case of Cat, no check on the first of the month.

Republicans are livid about Critical Race Theory (CRT) being taught in the classroom.
It's the topic on which Republican Glenn Youngkin won the Virginia governor's election over from Democrat Terry McAuliffe. Granted, Terry McAuliffe is also a boring, useless corporate sellout, so he had nothing to offer the people of Virginia.

It's another stupid culture war, but it's very effective on stupid people.

CRT is NOT TAUGHT in elementary school, middle school or high school.
CRT is an academic study at the undergraduate and graduate level.

This Anti-CRT Crusader Can't Even Define It:
only registered users can see external links

He is talking about the idea of Equity vs Equality harming kids.

He's also talking about Culturally Responsive Training being harmful.
(Culturally Responsive Training: Cultural responsiveness requires individuals be cultural competent. This competency is having an awareness of one's own cultural identity and views about difference, and the ability to learn and build on the varying cultural and community norms of students and their families.)
That means they want teachers to NOT BE IGNORANT BIGOTS and nothing more.

Probably, stupid people are confusing the one CRT (not be a bigot training) with
the other CRT (academic study at the undergraduate and graduate level).

IS THIS WHAT REPUBLICANS ARE SO FUCKING MAD ABOUT? DAMN!
By bella! [Ignore] 10,Nov,21 09:27 other posts
Perhaps in your utopian country CRT is an academic study at undergraduate and graduate levels however a number of school districts within the United States want to introduce CRT to children in K through 12.

Your illustration points out 1 of the issues with equity so clearly. WHY should the adult give up his position that he earned so that some one else can be "equal"? No one should give up anything they earned unless it is done willingly .As for ignorant bigots as you call them, they are not the enemy. The enemys are the 1's that want to wash away everyone's history and heritage and homogenize them to being the same.
It is so strange how on 1 hand we are being "convinced" there is no such thing as race. But on the other hand they want to teach race theory?
Even roads are being called racist now. Part of that so called infrastructure bill is meant to tear out roads and bridges that were put thru black neighborhoods to "reunite " them. And to remove a "wall" from between whites and blacks.
What a crock of shit. Replacing a perfectly good road or bridge for that reason? The shortest route was usually chosen for a road, so let's cut down on emissions by making a much longer route so the blacks can have empty lots to throw their garbage on. I have worked in a big city and I know what these places look like that are being talked about and the reason for the filth is not the road.

That is the most realistic point of view I have saw so far.
By bella! [Ignore] 10,Nov,21 17:23 other posts
So phart, you believe cartoon/meme depicts a realistic point of view? Maybe I just do NOT understand what my eyes are seeing. How is it that the people of color shown without legs to stand on and/or no platform offering assistance be something we should be good with?
By phart [Ignore] 10,Nov,21 18:18 other posts
On the first 1 I did not notice the "color" of the people .What I noticed was 1 person was in a higher position ,to get a better view of probably what is meant to be some kind of sport event ,and then the next frame the person gave up the block for the short person to stand on.
Now if this was a dad and 2 kids, well duh ,of course the dad would willing say "here son, stand on this".
But if they were total strangers and the parents of the small 1 just didn't offer a stool, then the kid would just have to keep looking thru the crack.
Now ,in the second 1, that Admin posted,I noticed what actually happens in real life being depicted.
Instead a volunteering of a stool or parents doing the right thing, someone comes along with a chainsaw and cuts their legs off so that they will forever be "equal". No matter how hard they work or never worked because of lack of incentive to "get that better view".
Now, what apparently everyone is missing from BOTH pairs of Meme's is the fact that the 3 people are standing OUTSIDE of the fence looking in. Are they to cheap to buy tickets? If so, they are technically stealing. But,I know, the liberals think stealing is a soft crime not worthy of punishment.
By bella! [Ignore] 10,Nov,21 19:16 other posts
Thanks for noting that in both memes the people of color are on the outside and looking in. Too cheap to buy tickets? Maybe their circumstances are such that they just can't afford the price of tickets. I guess we could consider that a possibility and ask why aren't they able to afford this simple pleasure? Is it because there isn't equity in wages? That's also a possibility. In my years in the workforce, I recognize that there are inequalities. I'm a firm believer that in many companies, women will never make the same wage as men when doing the same job. I also recognized early on when I thought that I wanted to work for the State of Michigan, the civil service exam was given and the only person/people that I might have had an advantage over was the white male. It's disturbing to realize that with all test scores being equal that some test takers are at an advantage based on color and/or ethnicity.
By phart [Ignore] 10,Nov,21 19:39 other posts
Alot of factors involved. Some are because of some people judging by race. Other factors are people that won't act and do things in ways to rid their race of past reputations and stereotypes.
There will always be inequality or what some perceive as such.IF everyone wakes up in the morning equal,in money, education and so on,what is the incentive to improve 1's self? If you can't look up and see the next person doing better than you and be motivated by that to improve yourself and make it to that level.?
Unequal wage? could it be the male shows up for work each day and the woman takes more time off for child related issues?
Could it be the female makes more rest room visits a few times a month reducing productivity?
Just ideas that could be the issues that people are considering when wages are decided.
Wage inequality could be due to lower academic levels. If you have a employee with a bachelors degree and 1 with a associate degree, obviously the bachelor degree is worth more money. Color is still a issue with some people because affirmative action is still on the books.Allow employers to hire qualified folks for jobs, not have to hire a certain number of 1 race or the other.
By bella! [Ignore] 10,Nov,21 20:13 other posts
The possibility that women make more visits to the restroom? Seriously, phart? That's kinda thinking is exactly why women earn less than men. In all my working years, I've always had a side job whether it was bartending or retail work. One of my jobs was working at a local produce/fruit market run by an Italian family. The females were given the cashier jobs and at the end of the day, it was the women that did the sweeping and cleaned the restrooms. Yep, women's work. The men folk, they did manly jobs. Working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan was not that much different, women could rise to supervision jobs, there were some female managers, a few female directors and even fewer VP's in a company that boasted of employing over 5,000 people.

Do you like to 'Make America Great Again'?
Then why call every idea to improve life; a fantasy?
That's not going to make America great (ever again).
Or do you think inequality makes America great?
By bella! [Ignore] 12,Nov,21 23:37 other posts

By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 13,Nov,21 12:38 other posts
One thing that is different in my country, no one gets upset by even the idea of equality.

What do you even mean by 'working to your potential'? Are you so offended by the idea that working is not the main goal in life?

When you say 'take care of the people', I hear gagging sounds. The governments are our representatives. The people elect them to do what is best for the people. That's what we pay taxes for. I want our government to use that money to give people the support they need to optimize their benefit to society, while optimizing their quality of life.

Why would you even want to hear again about everything that is better in
my country. You either don't think those things are better or you don't think people deserve it.
By phart [Ignore] 13,Nov,21 13:16 other posts
Why do you want to perpetuate laziness and provide lack of incentive for people to even to get out and do something with their lives besides sit back and let your taxes keep them up?
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 24,Nov,21 06:37 other posts
Working 40 hours a week should be enough to make a good living, whatever that work is. It's not laziness to understand that modern society
is more than capable of providing that. The only reason that society is not providing that, is that we allow greedy people to be parasites on society. They are milking society dry, because people like you believe their propaganda.

The rich have not been working harder than you, they have just benefited
from the socialism for the rich. When they fuck-up and their business fails, they get bailouts, bonuses and tax-cuts. You get nothing.

It's exactly the other way around, by allowing the parasites to exploit people, we need to prevent the victims from dying, with food programs and homeless shelters, PAYED WITH YOUR TAXES!
It won't cost any taxes, if we just force employers to pay their employees enough to live on.

OK, maybe this picture wasn't the clearest one. The metaphors got meddled by black figures, who were not intended to be black people and figures of different sizes who were incorrectly interpreted as adults and children of different ages.
I had seen that picture many times, but I never saw children. I just posted it,
because it's such a well known one.

Maybe the one below is more clear:
By admin [Ignore] 10,Nov,21 22:38 other posts
Sure you can get a higher chair to a shorter person, but can you make him play basketball better than significantly taller person? In most cases - no (there are some exceptions, but they are not many). No matter how hard you try. That is true about many things. Many people can't do complicated jobs because of limited capacity of their brain. So you can't teach them to be more productive, you can just limit/redistribute income of those who are better than them. And this is what is usually done. And usually it has devastating effect on society in a long run.
By phart [Ignore] 12,Nov,21 06:52 other posts
Unless you can somehow give everyone a equal IQ, Equal muscle and bone structure, equal vision and hearing and so on, there will always be those with a little less or a little more.
It is fantasy to think everyone can be exactly equal.

Does EVERY citizen need a college education? Does every citizen have the iq to handle or benifit from a college education? NO. You can't change that.
We have k thru 12 education for all kids now that is paid for by the taxpayer. Even those that don't have kids ,which is totally unfair.
Are ALL the kids making straight A's? NO. Are all the kids actually trying to learn? NO. Are all the parents encouraging their kids to do their best? NO.
So why pay for MORE of the same thing that is NOT helping everyone?
Can you eat a extra large pizza 3 meals a day? Probably not,so why have them delivered? similar princiable to this equity thing
You're confusing personal strengths and weaknesses with racial and societal unequal opportunities. A smart person has more chances in education than a low-IQ person, but given equal opportunities, they can both maximize their potential. The smart person might become an engineer for Apple, the low-IQ person might have creativity and become an artist. Or a care giver.

However, if a smart person cannot have an education, because of unequal opportunities, like being poor, than they CANNOT MAXIMIZE their potential.
That has devastating effects on society in the long run.

And what ARE those devastating effects? Poverty?
Then look at countries who redistribute income of those who are 'better' than them.

I also don't like how you use 'better'. If you think successful people in your country have more value than people who struggle, than I question your morality.
By admin [Ignore] 12,Nov,21 08:37 other posts
Individual brain variety is much more wider than average racial differences. I have already told you this is not about race, stop fixating on it. You actually sound quite racist.

>Then look at countries who redistribute income of those who are 'better' than them.

I lived in USSR and people were running out of it to the countries that redistribute income to those who are 'better'. Not the other way around. And yes, it had poverty you can't even imagine.

>I also don't like how you use 'better'. If you think successful people in your country have more value than people who struggle, than I question your morality.

In that sentence I meant 'better' as in "more productive". It's stupid to think that there are absolute kind of "better". It's all relative. It's better to be able to accumulate fat if you live in wilderness, it's better to burn food inefficiently when you live in abundant technological society. Also, morality is just a shared illusion that usually accommodates to the circumstances. Tribe of cannibals has very different morality than society you live in, but it's valid in their circumstances. Change circumstances and morality will change. Efficiency, however, is quite scientific measurement.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 12,Nov,21 09:13 other posts
Who says the USSR is redistributing income? Ever heard the term 'oligarch'?

First of all, socialism and communism are completely different.
Second, the USSR never implemented communism correctly and certainly not socialism. They never ascended from a dictatorship.
Third, the USSR had a period of relative equality, but they broke their system with authoritarianism and hostility to the rest of the world. They finally lost to their people revolting and the rest of the world uniting against them.

Even 'more productive' is debatable. The rich have much more opportunity to improve their life and themselves, but they can be terribly destructive. They are the owners of banks responsible for millions of toxic mortgages, causing evictions. Or they destroy their employee's pensions, when they run their company into the ground, but still pay themselves big bonuses. Or they make their miners work unprotected, so they all die of lung cancer. That's not productive at all.

"Change circumstances and morality will change." Give people the opportunity
to exploit other people and they will think they are moral to do so.
Teach the whole population that exploitation is moral and people will believe
that it's necessary and any other way is just a fantasy.
By admin [Ignore] 12,Nov,21 10:21 other posts
That is exactly what I'm telling you - you can't implement communism correctly. It's all good in theory but it does not worth shit if you can't implement it. You just have faith that is not based on any real evidence that it can be implemented. You are no different from any other religious person. Which is OK, I'd only wish you left alone everyone who does not agree with you and build on your beliefs with the ones who share them. If it is so better, than anyone would join anyway. But it does not happen.

>Teach the whole population that exploitation is moral and people will believe that it's necessary and any other way is just a fantasy.

Again, in USSR the whole population was teached that exploitation is IMMORAL. It did not make the difference you think it would. If anything, it made things worse.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 13,Nov,21 12:01 other posts
You don't get equity or even equality with communism.
But I think it's telling that you think it does.

Do you even understand the difference between communism and socialism?
I would be amazed if you could explain it correctly.

You are referring to the principles of Karl Marx. The USSR used the rhetoric
of Karl Marx, but almost none of his principles.

Equity or even equality only have a chance when the citizens are in power.
The USSR and other states used as examples of communism and socialism by right-wingers, ALL NEVER provided any power to its citizens. Whatever they called their system, a corrupt authoritarian regime will never provide equality.

The system that approaches equality the most is social democracy / democratic socialism. Scandinavian countries are the best examples. They are successful in creating the most equality on the most topics. However, many other countries provide partial equality on specific opportunities. Many have equality in either one or more subjects, like education, healthcare, child care, access to justice, access to housing, access to financial products, job (advancement) opportunities, voting rights, political influence and workers rights, by law and or in practice.

That's real evidence that it can be implemented.

Where in the US is there no public education system in place? Where are these places of "unequal" opportunities? Far as I know the federal government and state governments help to insure a "free" k thru 12 education is provided for all kids. And it is even REQUIRED of them to go to school , so no kid is actually missing a opportunities. The kid and or the parents are the problem. Kids are not being taught the value of a education at home. They are being to taught to sit and whine or throw rocks and bricks and flaming wine bottles until they get what they want. Sure that is a stretch. but it is essentialy what happens.

Common, you know how expensive college and university is. K thru 12 education doesn't help anyone advance in life. You can give examples of people exceeding with their basic education, but literally every board appointed executive has an expensive education.

'education at home'? That's not a concept we know here.

If your parents are poor, your chances at advanced education are nil, unless you are a brilliant student or athlete. Rich kids can just go and have less pressure of wasting their parents money.

You can blame anyone, but it's just a fact that children of rich parents can get
a better education than children of poor parents.
That's just one part of the inequality.
By phart [Ignore] 14,Nov,21 10:43 other posts
True a rich kids can be sent to college, but he or she may not learn anything but how to chug beer.
It is also very strange that for decades k thru 12, or really 1 thru 12, was a plenty for any man to get thru with a good life. How many college educated men and women were there in the 50's and 60's? Not nearly as many as there are now. BUT Most anyone that was willing work had a Chevy and a home and a family. Now they want to flip burgers, go to college on my and your dime, and drive a bmw

Funny, but complete nonsense.

It benefits society, if everyone can maximize their potential.

A smart poor black guy working at McDonald's to pay for the medicine for his sick mother, is not maximizing his potential.
Society could pay for medicine and education and then that smart poor black guy could study engineering or biochemistry and do something more productive than selling unhealthy food.

You do not get it. I know that is't wonderful in theory and if there was a working implementation of it I would be all for it. But in reality it does not work like you imagine. In reality you get something like the second picture shows and it's not funny at all.

P.S. And it does not have anything to do with color by the way. Stop fixating on it.
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 12,Nov,21 08:19 other posts
It's not a theory, it's what every social democracy in Europe is doing.
There are many working implementations in place. Even the US has some.
NOT PERFECT is not the same as NOT EXISTING.

I don't imagine, I observe!

Color is not the main issue, it's systemic unequal opportunity.
A rich black person has much more opportunities than a poor white person.
That doesn't mean color has NO meaning. Discrimination exists.

There is no such thing as race. According to someone's link posted here a while back.So racism can't exist if there is no such thing as race. So that means race is not supposed to be a factor.
In your picture of the tree and ladders. There the illustrator is assuming that both people want a apple. The illustrator is also assuming that both are WILLING to do what it takes to get a apple ,if it requires climbing the ladder.
I see it slightly different. I know, imagine that? But anyway, the 1 that can't reach the tree, if they were smart ,or if they wanted a apple bad enough, they would go get a ladder, a stick or some type of tool to make it happen .OR they would simply climb the tree and sit on a limb and eat to their hearts content. Wanting the apple get the apple. Wanting the apple is supposed to INSPIRE ingenuity and creativity.
IN reality, that alternate to fantasy land, 2 people are at the tree and only 1 gets the apple, and the other person sits back and waits for a 3rd party to intervene and help them get the apple. Therefore reinforcing the "can't do" or "won't do" attitude so many people are instilled with today.

You say there is no such thing as race, but you see a depiction of race in two pictures where the figures have the same color.

Both pictures refer to inequality. There is inequality, when there is a systemic difference in opportunity between groups of people. That inequality is mostly apparent between the groups of rich people vs poor people.

You are more talented than Donald Trump Jr.. You may take that as a compliment, but it is a low bar. However Donald Trump Jr. is wealthy and you are not.
Did you have a "can't do" or "won't do" attitude?

Or do you acknowledge that Donald Trump Jr. had more opportunity than you, because his grandfather left his father a shitload of money?
By phart [Ignore] 13,Nov,21 17:25 other posts
I am not from a rich family, that is not anyone's fault. Donald jr is from a rich family. That is not anyone's fault either.
But to expect him to give up what was left to him by his grandfather or what he may have earned himself, to make me equal to him is stealing from him.
Is that what you see as a solution? take from him to give to me?
Would I be "better off" , Sure, but how do you think he would feel? Do you think he would continue to invest and take chances with money if he knew I was going to reap his earnings? NO.

Did I say make the rich kid EQUAL to a poor kid? No, I said give a poor kid
equal OPPORTUNITY to maximize their POTENTIAL.
Do you really not understand? It's not a difficult concept.

You said it yourself; it's not their fault!
Rich kids didn't earn anything yet.
Poor kids didn't do anything to deserve punishment yet.
So why should it make that much of a difference?

Whether advance education is suitable for a child should depend on their intelligence and interests, not on their parents' wallet. Or the rich kid has an advantage.

A rich parent can hire a nanny, for when they are out making money, so a poor person needs free or affordable day-care, for when they working to support their survival. If not, the rich kid has another advantage in OPPORTUNITY over the poor kid.

The only thing the rich people need to do is pay some more taxes, so things like education and child care are free at the point of use. They then can make use of those same free services too. And they also benefit from a society where all people have OPPORTUNITY to maximize their POTENTIAL.

Just to give you a small tidbit of background as to why my opinion's and feelings are the way they are. My first job involved alot of travel hauling video games and vending machines. 1 of my stops was Barber-Scotia College for a short time. I will NEVER forget what I saw 1 day as I was headed up to a office to get a key on the 3rd floor.as I walked up the stairs, I noticed trash all over the stairs, and in the corner between floors a fellow was turned away from me pissing in the corner. The offices and walls were dirty the staff was rude.
Here I was at a place where blacks were able to go to get a higher education and it looked more like a homeless shelter that a tornado had went thru. Men PISSING on the stairs? I mean ,really? What good is a higher education ,free or expensive, provided to anyone of any race with the mentality of placing no value on sanitation or anything?
We didn't keep equipment in there very long as vandalism and theft cost us way more than we made and we removed our equipment.
Granted, this was years ago, but I just drove by that very building over the weekend and it looks the same outside as it did then. trash along the side walks.

Could it be an underfunded, understaffed school, full of kids that don't get any parental guidance, because their parents are both out working for scraps?
We have schools like that too. Some of them were shut down, some of them got their leadership replaced. In most cases that really helps. What doesn't help is giving up on them.

For what I read about it, that school sucked.

Your argument is that they are animals and it's a waste of money to try improve them. It will be your horrible world to live in, when you think giving up on people will improve anything.

A few years ago, an economical consultancy calculated the investment returns for education on society. It showed, among other things, that a college diploma at level 2 entails more than 90,000 euros in social benefits, with an investment of less than 30,000 euros. The return is even better as the level of education rises. At college levels 3 and 4, the social benefits even amount to 120,000 euros. So in fact, 2.80 euros are earned for every euro invested in education.

It is not a matter of giving up on anyone.
Here is the thing. Some people just are not capable of great things. Some people's iq levels do not allow for great potential. does that mean give up on them? No. it means provide work for them that is within their abilities. So you can't design a new car .But you can operate 1,so drive a taxi, make a living. So you are not able to get into harvard, get a job with the university washing windows and make a living.
No one should be left behind, people just need to grasp reality and understand not everyone is a rocket scientist.
And those that are capable, are smart enough to beat most odds.
I was a electronics geek in high school. My grades were a couple b's and c's. Not great."oh but you need to go college and get a degree in electronics". So I did but my math skills suck. I was taught how to troubleshoot ,by the time I graduated, most stuff was "modules" and boards and very little demand for that. I wound up in a totally unrelated line of work and electronics is still a hobby.

So you see no differences between how the economy was shaped in the 60's and 70's and how it is shaped now and all causes of the diminishing middle class is cultural?

Is it then just because women are working now, is it laziness or is it something else?

How do you explain that a family in the 70's could do well when only the father worked in a factory and that's not the case anymore?

Ever heard how productivity has risen since the 70's?
So where does all that extra profit go now?

By phart [Ignore] 22,Nov,21 13:05 other posts
I would assume the profits go to the investers of the company.Without them, there is no company.
Unless you operate like china ,everything owned by the government.
1 question. Where does the equity thing matter the most?
Here in the US or world wide?
If you tried to make the same opportunity's for the entire world you would NEVER accomplish it. Kids in Africa, there is NO way to give them the same opportunity's that someone in san fransisco would have for a college education.NO way except to take everyones money world wide, everyones wealth in general, and evenly distribute it. that is the only way you would COME CLOSE to equity. And in 6 months, most of the money and assets would be right back in the hands of those that had it before.Because they know what to do to earn it,and KEEP IT and grow it.

A score for inequality is called the Gini coefficient.
The higher the number, the higher the inequality.

The worst unequal country in the world is South Africa with 63%
The USA is currently at 41.4%
The Netherlands is 28.1%

It would take a massive effort to get Africa up to our levels, but what would help a lot is stop stealing from them. We are taking their resources and their money and as thanks we are leaving them with lots of pollution. The hands that are holding them in poverty are Europe, China and the USA.

"I would assume the profits go to the investers of the company. Without them, there is no company."
If you are referring to shareholders, when you say investors, you should do some research on the differences. There are many companies without shareholders, there are even companies that are fully owned by the employees. The value of shareholders for a company is wildly overrated. You can best see it like a loan with a very high interest rate. It starts out as investment money, but it is ownership. I'm profiting of that system personally, but I realize it's a parasitic system favoring the owner class.
Who are much more vital to companies? Customers; the middle class. When the middle class is hurting, so are companies. But it will probably require a massive crash, before people realize.

That drawing is not an adult, an teenager and a child, it's three adult men of different sizes.

It's depicting systemic racism, but it's also depicting the unequal changes of poor vs rich.

I know you're OK with children of poor parents having a harder time to make something of their life than children of rich parents, but do you cannot deny that it exists.

Rich parents can pay for a good education, poor parents can't. That's inequality.

This is a BLACK person speaking.A educated black person.
By JustWill [Ignore] 22,Nov,21 14:08 other posts
So, she's like the QUEEN of the BLACK PEOPLE or something?
I mean, good for you that you found "a educated black person" who agrees with your views, but what makes you think that they are the official spokes-person for all BLACK PEOPLE?
If I look, I am pretty sure that I can find more than one educated WHITE PERSON who disagrees with you.
Does that mean you'll accept that you are wrong?

The Netherlands-- sounds like Animal Farm
By Ananas2xLekker [Ignore] 24,Nov,21 04:10 other posts
There are 17.5 million people in The Netherlands. For such a tiny country, we have:
16.7 million chickens
12 million pigs
3.8 million cows
780 thousand sheep
450 thousand horses
476 thousand goats
Yep, The Netherlands is a big Animal farm. Yee-haw!
