Has anyone found a face mask that glasses can be worn with? I'm tired of fogging up my "real" glasses and sunglasses when I'm wearing a mask. It makes it difficult to grocery shop when I'm trying to read where everything is behind foggy glasses.
I've got some homemade ones that were donated to The Foodbank, for use by volunteers, and they are not TOO bad for the steaming up issue. Fortunately, I don't need my specs for close-up work, like checking best before dates!
Forget you! I am nearsighted, as well. I have no problem reading expiration dates, text messages on my phone, books, etc, without my glasses. I do need my eyeglasses to determine where I can find things since my local Kroger store has remodeled and everything is in a different location.
As I understand, I have 20/70 vision and I see a'ight!
Bella, I wear glasses (sexy transition, no line bifocals FYI) and I understand but I rarely wear a mask. I saw on the Late Late Show the other night that the head writer was wearing two masks to prevent fogging up his glasses. I haven't tried it but it's a thought. If you try it and are successful, share the good news!
OK the thing I fine works best for me is, plane soap and water! And let air dry.
Wash the glasses with regular soap this will not allow fog to build up.
Try wearing your glasses on top of your mask, this will help keep the mask close to you skin and not allow air into your glasses. If all this fails simply Google (foggy glasses while wearing a mask) There is an abundance of remedies available.
It will be a hit or miss type of solution.
Really? Washing the lenses with bar soap, not Dawn, the dish washing liquid, allowing the glasses time to air dry works for you? I will try it, thank you!
WOW! Chadwick Boseman was 43 years old and was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in 2016?
In the United States, doctors don't begin routine screening for rectal colon cancer until you reach the age of 50 years old. What is the age in the UK where doctors are concerned about colon cancer?
I've had only one other colonoscopy and that was 5 years ago. The prep work was almost an entire day of feeling like shit, no pun intended. On the day of the procedure, there was a clock in the room and to the best of my recollection, I was out only 15 to 20 minutes yet felt like I had been sleeping for hours. The "nap" felt wonderful because I hadn't slept the night before.
My colonoscopy prep was terriable, miserable, and I don't think It worked well as 2 hours after I got out of the place I had to go to the bathroom BAD.
BUT 1 thing I learned.Back when mine was done, there was all this talk of colon cleansing on tv and the innernet.
Well,my colon was as clean as it could get,and I didn't feel a bit better!
So those colon cleansing ad's must be BULL>
Are you speaking of colonics, phart? If I haven't spelled it correctly or if I'm using the wrong term, sorry. The best way I can describe MY understanding of a colonic treatment is that it would be like an anal douche. I haven't had one, I don't know anyone who has had one HOWEVER, it seems to me that folks irrigate their sinus passage with positive results well, why not irrigate your ass.
bella! they encourage men to get screened at 40. I did. --------------------------------------- added after 3 minutes
I remember my doctor asking "How old is my friend Kebmo?" during a physical and within two minutes his finger was up my butt! No drink, no small talk, nothing!
The "Don't die of embarrassment" tag line should be given to testicular cancer.
I recall many years ago, a young man, a young comedian, a young Canadian, Tom Green, announced he had and was treated for testicular cancer. Although not a Canadian, Lance Armstrong also had testicular cancer.
The way that Hurricanes dominate our news you would think that we just started having them a couple years ago.
Turns out hurricanes have been around a LONG time.

Phart, this was a cat 3 or 4 hurricane. They haven't had a storm this strong in over 150 yrs. The untold damage will be apparent in a few days. This story should get top billing for several weeks.
Well I must admit I am sitting here wondering where the joke is myself.
Over the years I have noticed Federal tax money being spent renovating houses over and over again in the same spot as other storms have hit for decades and all I did was mention that hurricanes have been around LONG before any dingbat built a wall trying to hold back the ocean so they could build a city.
Looks like by now someone would figure out maby we need to move to higher ground this is bankrupting US?
I HOPE that folks don't live down there because they get fresh paint and a new tv every 2 or 3 years. The loss of even part of your home and belongings is a stressful sad thing to go thru.Looks like folks would want to make changes so they would not have to endure it over and over.
Don't scratch your head,THINK ABOUT IT.

Good luck finding a workable solution!!

Two masks? One atop of the other? Strange!

Sorry, phart, I couldn't help myself!
"Don't die of embarrassment."
To your knowledge, what is the age in Canada that doctors want their patients screened for colon cancer?

"Men. As you're always rummaging around down there anyway, this is what you should be checking for .."
I'm sure kebmo's wit can improve on that! Challenge made
Have the balls to see your doctor.
For the sake of clarity: that's for colon cancer!!
Kebmo: On my way to Tim Horton's (Canadian donut chain) now.
Kebmo 15 minutes later: I have to go back for another dozen!
I amuse me.

In other News: The Pope's a Catholic and bears shit in the woods.
I was in the park the other day wondering why frisbees seem to be getting bigger and bigger .. and then it hit me!
