Member #683639, Jamie, deleted his profile.

I know you’re going to read this Jamie, I am dead serious about this, don’t you think that you should let someone know what’s going on before you pull the plug on your profile! Couldn’t you write a small paragraph in the Forum letting your friends know what’s up?

West Virginias governor vowed to help the people that lost homes cars and loved ones in last night’s flash flooding
Now that is a republican taking charge unlike Kamala in North Carolina last year patting people on the shoulder saying there there
Give a round of applause to Patrick morrisey

well those abroad won't hear alot about it because it goes against the liberal medias agenda

So, if FEMA helps, it's fiscally irresponsible. When so right wing joker governor does it, it's admirable.
Sure, guys. Keep telling yourself that.

are you forgetting how little creditability fema has now that it was proven that some fema workers discriminated against people because of their choice of president?

i have been involved in 3 different situations that fema was involved while employed and rather you want to believe it or not, that was and is a very corrupt bunch that if people get kickbacks, shit goes on that would make your blood boil.
i know for certain 10 fans were bought at harbor freight for 99 bucks or so, and were then rented to fema at a 100 bucks a day to dry out buildings. 100 bucks for a day , we all know fans will run longer than 24 hours. why is that kind of waste allowed? the government could just buy the 10 fans and save 1000's. but no, the employees "contract" shit out to their friends and get kick backs in their pockets

You are going to lecture me about FEMA? Me, who has lived through several large hurricanes? Me who lives on a state that is a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic ocean and in the direct path of most Atlantic hurricanes?
You always have "a personal experience" about everything. The problem is that those experiences occur in the backwoods of some third rate MAGA state. FEMA, despite their blemishes, has helped not thousands, but millions of victims of storms. You can take your fans and try to ventilate the lower forty. We, the real people, we want FEMA. Even with their warts.

FEMA will soon be no more they are corrupt
By CAT52! [Ignore] 18,Jun,25 08:48 other posts
Dgraff, who said they are corrupt? Didn't the Clown send FEMA to help several times during his 1st administration?
Besides, haven't you heard, "Don't through out the baby with the water"? What's wrong with fixing it if it's broken? Or is the Clown and his minions incapable of "fixing" anything? Wasn't he elected to "fix the swamp"?
What am I saying. He/they can't even wipe their ass after a BM.
By phart [Ignore] 18,Jun,25 08:56 other posts
you like the hand outs and the 14th remodels on everyones houses they provide. so of course you like them.
why is it the 1's that can't figure out after about the 3rd time of being washed away they might need to move instead of taking peoples tax money all the time>?

and i won't apologize for actually working in the real world for a time and seeing and learning first hand how some things actually work. you worked in a office with numbers and words and typewriters. i worked with my hands and brain until i no longer could by no fault of my own.
stop hating those that actually know what is going on for a change.
By CAT52! [Ignore] 18,Jun,25 13:12 other posts
Phart, moving is not an option. Even when insurance is involved.
I’m sure you worked in the “real world” and that made you very knowledgeable. Me? I just worked in a hospital doing clerical work. Except when I spent 7 days living in the hospital, on call 24 hrs a day during hurricanes. Listening to patients tell me how they reached that point in their lives, or offered some limited comfort to a family member when a loved one passed away or was given a bad diagnosis.
You have to understand, Phart, that I’m 73 yrs young and, while I’m recently separated from WOODY, he and all the other members of a very extended family that includes those members that go all the way to Connecticut, New York, and the Northeast, not to mention Argentina, keep me informed of anything I miss. I’m very well read and, I believe, I can match my humble life experiences with yours.
By dgraff [Ignore] 18,Jun,25 10:24 other posts
What do you think they are going to do they are fixing it by shutting fema down and granting each state the money for emergency so our great governors can a point the money were it needs to be under strict supervision of coarse
By CAT52! [Ignore] 18,Jun,25 10:55 other posts
Bet they don’t supply the money. And, you think a poor state like Alabama can help its people like a rich state like Texas or Florida?
One of the things FEMA does is bring basic mobile homes as temporary shelters for those left homeless. Those are brought from all over the country. Some are stored ready for the next natural catastrophe. You really think Alabama, Luisiana, South Carolina, Kansas and all those other states with limited funds will be able to do that?
FEMA was created exactly for that reason. The power of the Federal government with its ability to stand behind the purchases needed to help everyone no matter where they live was and is the main reason.
Do you not believe that a bipartisan Congress, Republican and Democrat, saw the need to act?
Look, if eliminating FEMA will accomplish something better, I’m all for it, but, right now, all I see is a complicated effort to keep the national debt down so the Clown’s tax breaks for the top 1 % won’t be noticed. And if that’s not enough for you then tell me, when was the last time your state paid for a major interstate or a bridge across a major waterway without help from the Feds?
Eliminating that would hurt YOUR LIFE, but, helping out those poor unfortunates who, by no fault of their own, are suffering a life changing catastrophe, oh, no, let someone else do/pay for it.
Way to go.
By phart [Ignore] 18,Jun,25 11:36 other posts
the interstate system is a federal system. so the feds take care of the cost of that, has been that way since Eisenhower stole the idea after seeing how the autobahn worked in germany.
By CAT52! [Ignore] 18,Jun,25 12:04 other posts
That’s true, but, all the connecting roads are paid by the state or county the interstate goes through. In Miami, not one major infrastructure project gets built without the Feds helping out (that means MONEY)
By phart [Ignore] 18,Jun,25 11:34 other posts
ditto, it is really a better idea. it gives the people of the state affected more control over the money. voters can see how the money is spent and vote accordingly. such as a governor allowing a house to be repaired a 12th time at a cost of 80,000 dollars ,whereas if the house had been moved a mile down the road to higher ground the 3rd time it was damaged ,would have been fixed and done. you would vote that person out.
By dgraff [Ignore] 18,Jun,25 14:42 other posts
Yep it’s a win win situation but the democrats have to try and make things difficult
By CAT52! [Ignore] 20,Jun,25 11:07 other posts
No, Phart, Dgraff, it’s not a win-win. You forget that many coastal states would be bankrupted if they had to foot the bill. What would happen, or, actually will happen, is that many victims would NOT get the help needle to rebuild.
Oh, Phart, tell me in detail how this would be accomplished,
“ whereas if the house had been moved a mile down the road to higher ground the 3rd time it was damaged ”
Tell us how you think 2000+ homes can be moved “a mile down the road”. Just the logistics is enough to send planners screaming. And what do you do with the homeless waiting for a place to sleep? Friend, get real

You poor fool.
By phart [Ignore] 20,Jun,25 19:47 other posts
hows that? explain? i am proposing hiring unemployed people to move homes to higher ground. solveing not 1 but 2 problems. the unemployment and the flood damage to homes.
why is it any solution that makes logical sense is so forigen to liberals? i assume you just want to keep spending money on a house that keeps getting flooded over and over right?
excerpt from a google search.

Severe Repetitive Loss Properties: A subset of homes in the NFIP are designated as "severe repetitive loss properties." These are homes that have flooded multiple times over the years and received significant insurance payouts for rebuilding. For instance, one home in Louisiana has reportedly flooded 40 times in four decades, receiving over $428,000 in insurance payments.

there is a webpage from yale edu that explains the issues in detail but this page makes it impossible to post some links.
Yale e360
only registered users can see external links › digest › thousands_of_us_home...

that is just not being good stewards of the tax payers money to keep rebuilding houses that flood constantly.
By CAT52! [Ignore] 20,Jun,25 23:46 other posts
Phart, do you think moving a house is easy? You believe you can put a "we are hiring" sign and qualified construction people would show up in droves? And, how long do you think this would take? And let's not forget that those houses would have to have new land. Who would pay for that? What about if there's not enough land?
All these things I've just brought up, it doesn't take a Republican or Democrat to make it work. It takes time, planning, and most of all, money. You think every state is able to do that?
By phart [Ignore] 21,Jun,25 06:26 other posts
and when your house floods a fairy comes flying in and waves a wand?
seriously, it takes people to come in hauling sheetrock and paint to fix the walls of a house that is flooded.it takes work to do either job. so why not do the work once and be done? easier on the family to know there is a better chance they will have a home. the same money that keeps rebuilding can be used to buy land. the same money paid for labor to keep rebuilding can be spent moving.
By CAT52! [Ignore] 21,Jun,25 06:59 other posts
Because in one case, a big chunk is covered by insurance and they fix on site only.
By phart [Ignore] 21,Jun,25 10:06 other posts
have you ever thought about folks sitting down at a table and negotiating changes to those sop's?
if insurance companies can be shown that a house move could save funds in the future, perhaps they would take a second look at the idea. you seem to think change is easy until it means changing something like insurance.
we all have to pay into that. so storms cost us all. it is time to make some changes as insurance is becoming unaffordable because of nonsense rebuilding.
i have often heard the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

By phart [Ignore] 21,Jun,25 16:13 other posts
exactly, it's a fact that it is insane to keep wasting money rebuilding something for it to only be destroyed again in a short time.

And?
By phart [Ignore] 21,Jun,25 20:28 other posts
there is no way you can be this fucking dumb.'
it is only logical to FIX a problem instead of patching it.
did you ever read about that house in new orleans that has had over 400,000 dollars spent on it? it was tax valued at less than 50,000 dollars.
why on earth not put it on some wheels and haul it to high ground after about the 3rd time it flooded, fix it and then be fucking done with the problem for good?>?? it's not like the flooding will suddenly stop happening, it's not like the people are enjoying having to rebuild their house every time it rains, can you imagine the disruption in peoples lives when they can't stay in their own house until the walls are torn out every couple years? stress on adults, traumatic for kids, whereas if the house is moved, it creates jobs, keeps the home dry and livable for the life of the family. a win win.

but i honestly think democrats like you enjoy having people dependent on the government so their lives are always at your mercy. as long as you know at least a 100 homes will flood during a storm, you know you have a 100 voters that will vote for you next election since you rebuilt their house for the 37th time with their neighbors money

Am I outta touch or am I impatient? I want to get my Cadillac detailed, inside and out, and the two places I checked into say that they would have my car two days. Last week I noticed that the Cadillac was leaking something and my initial thought was “no worries” I have an appointment for an oil change and a tire rotation next week (the appointment was today) and I will mention it and someone will look at it. NOT! I had to make an appointment and the service advisor anticipates keeping the car for two days. What in the world is going on!?
By t-rex [Ignore] 20,Jun,25 23:30 other posts
I have been experiencing sort of the same thing in different lines of business, everything seems to be so crowded and overwhelmed. I used to be able to make a appointment for oil change tire rotation for a couple days later now it seems to be two or three weeks at least I also asked for an additional service and they told me they could not do it. It would be three weeks before I could get another appointment, (smh)
By bella! [Ignore] 21,Jun,25 00:34 other posts
Thank you for your response! Perhaps I shouldn’t be so quick to grumble. I only waited 8 days for my appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. As far as the dealership looking for the “leak”, that appointment is scheduled for Monday morning at 9:30. Another variable might be because I live in BFNowhere and that could factor into why the service appointment availabilities are met in a more reasonable amount of time.
By Cody8789 [Ignore] 21,Jun,25 01:00 other posts
There can only be a couple of places the oil can leak from, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, oil pressure switch and something as simple as a clogged pcv valve. I’ve had an oil leak twice from my oil pressure switch which on my car is a bitch to get to, a lot of labor work which took me about six hours to replace the switch which was about $32 bucks, I most always do the work myself. If you have an eight cylinder and it’s an ls motor, most likely it’s the oil pressure switch
Those motors are known to leak from a bad seal on that switch which only seems to last about thirty thousand miles b4 it needs to be replaced.
By bella! [Ignore] 21,Jun,25 01:22 other posts
Thanks for your post however I don’t think it’s an oil leak, the liquid appears to be pink in color. Of course when I ran my hand under the car where I found the fluid was last week it was dry as a bone. The service advisor popped the hood and said he smelled the sweet smell of coolant. Funny, the coolant reservoir is on the driver’s side almost directly in front of the steering wheel placement but the leakage is on the passenger’s side, all the way to the front of the car, kinda like where the headlight is.
By Cody8789 [Ignore] 21,Jun,25 17:56 other posts
If your car overheated driving in the heat the pressure in your radiator will back flow into your overflow container which could have overflowed the container, but when the car cools it’s made to return the fluid back into the radiator, that’s why they tell you to not fill the overflow container more than half way. Ask dgraff, he will verify what I said, he’s the expert.

One of the things that I’ve come to recognize with regard to you, you have a sense of humor and you know your STUFF and you know about cars.

Ask dgraff? That guy is so deep into retirement, my guess is that he’s sitting in his favorite chair with his feet up watching reruns of Andy of Mayberry. Snickers is nearby and they both take frequent naps. When dgraff’s conscious and awake, he’s patiently waiting for Marcie to prepare his next gourmet meal and he repeats it all the following day(s).

There’s a blog written by a member regarding “Drinking Urine” /blogs/59966.html . The blogger wants us to believe that he enjoys drinking urine. Alrighty! I suppose if I were dropped into a forest without any provisions and there wasn’t any water or food source I MIGHT consider drinking my urine………. NOT!

The blogger goes on to say that sometimes his urine is salty and sometimes it’s sweet, yeah, I get that, ultimately it’s going to taste like something that was consumed. If I want to drink something salty I will grab a Gatorade and if I want to drink something sweet, I might treat myself to a cold Coca Cola !

Lol. Avery 6 months i have to piss on a little bottle. The they test my urine to see what's wrong like my liver now I have to take a pill a day . So what can happen if you drink your urine.?
By bella! [Ignore] 18,Jun,25 21:15 other posts
I’ve never had the desire to drink urine, mint or anyone elses. My guess is that the blogger leans toward drinking urine for some sort of sexual gratification rather than for taste. He mentions being drawn to his morning urine, I don’t know about him or anyone else however my morning urine is darker and rather stinky. I have no desire to sip on warm and stinky piss!
By phart [Ignore] 18,Jun,25 22:54 other posts
well, i guess instead of septic tank to kitchen sink he just goes direct.
there was a big idea going around years ago about waste water being filtered and reused in home.
i can't fathom that myself.
could a person just pee and drink 24 7 and never have to have water from a outside source? i would think evaporation would eventually deplete the supply to a point it would not be enough.
By Cody8789 [Ignore] 19,Jun,25 01:27 other posts
It is written that if you ever need to drink your urine do not drink your first urine of the day because that’s the time your body is shedding most of the toxins in your body, so wait till your second pee of the day. I used to do a lot of hiking in the mountains and I have a book on how to survive in the forest and the urine thing was in there.

Thanks for your input!

I have always been a SURVIVOR fan and a hundred years ago I recall a contestant getting stung by something they encountered in the water and another contestant urinated on the area to apparently disinfect it. My guess is there’s probably some positive effects with the use of urine but just to sit down and enjoy a good, warm glass of fresh piss, no thank you, I would much rather have a cold glass of Coca Cola OR take me to my happy place, a refreshingly cold Michelob Ultra in a long neck bottle!

No, I’m like Bella, no piss will ever enter my mouth. And I’ve done a lot of back country hiking eating off the land, I carry a life straw in case I need water, but I have gone without water for over 24 hrs and got so thirsty I would think about licking the morning dew off the leaves to get water.

Same one that blacklisted us. And like you, never even knew who she was. I smell fish. I thought it was kinda odd that she put Hialeah, Fl as her city. Welcome back Charlie.
By bella! [Ignore] 05,Feb,19 09:02 other posts
So if you were blacklisted, I suspect that you could not read the exchange of thoughts between hotpussy and myself. It had to do with my post about licksipsuckit being the moderator of over 400 groups. Because she has blacklisted me, I can no longer see her posts in my thread (Don't you just love the way admin mucked up the blacklist process?). I believe that she basically asked what is the benefit of being a moderator of so many groups? Since she asked me, I responded with POWER. It gives her (licksipsuckit) the power to believe that she is the BIG fish in this small pond. It allows her the ability to show just how PETTY she is when she can boot people out of a group just because she doesn't like them. Yes, I was using references to "she" and "her" because my original post had licksipsuckit's name in BOLD BLUE letters. I suggested that hotpussy ask "her" herself, why "she" would want to be the moderator of 400 groups and hotpussy's next post is "Who".

You know, I'm not into playing games with someone who cannot be forthright. I spotted her days ago and admin detected her, too. /suspicious.php She has even set up her profile to not accept private messages from anyone other than the people on her friend list so although it was in no way a request to be her friend, I said something like; members know you as "xxxx" and that's who you should be.

The crazy thing is, is she thinks she is fooling members and admin, too, but she is not. That's why I posted something that Abraham Lincoln said, the short version; you cannot fool all the people all of the time.

She has a messed up thought process, she was pissed that I didn't tell others to back down or be nice in the way that they treated her. She had no problem in saying rude and malicious things about me and others. I don't give a flying fladoodle that I was blacklisted, c'est la vie!

Oddly enough, Candymandycharliebonbontits has NOT blacklisted me yet.
By bella! [Ignore] 05,Feb,19 12:57 other posts
Oh, HELL NO!

Maybe she figured that it wouldn't be a good thing since admin was so fond of you!

By the way, I like what you've done with the profile name but weren't you able to work in TWOWARMTTS, too? Or is the "tits" at the end paying homage to that profile?
By #491031 05,Feb,19 13:47
I figured that the "tits" part covered it.

It may be that CMCBT isn't sure why she/he was deleted by Admin and, believing that I had something to do with his/her banishment (which I did not...directly, at least), CMCBT is just keeping clear of me altogether.
I have no problem with that whatsoever...
By #491031 05,Feb,19 13:51
And...
Admin didn't say he was "fond" of me.
He merely pointed out that I was not a troublemaker.
Big difference.
